I've been going crazy all morning. (I am SO gonna get fired from my "work-work"; these other wonderful projects...Wishadoo, The Piece Process, Books for Good...they're really a full-time job in and of themselves. May The Universe conspire on my behalf to somehow generate an income via these paths which speak to my heart, and gracefully help me release the other "work-work." ;))

Anyway, I awoke this morning thinking of all the furry, feathered and other animals so impacted by Katrina -- and their owners, of course. :cry:

I spent all morning getting this situated -- http://www.hookedonthebook.com -- and I'm telling everyone this is my birthday wish: To spread the word about this Hooked on the Book Campaign which shall benefit the Louisiana SPCA.

In fact, ALL proceeds from the e-book sales will go to the LA-SPCA for the next month!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! I love "Tink" too!! so much so that I almost fell out of the box seats,( first box stage left) when I saw Peter Pan on Broadway when I was 10 years old. Clapping so hard for her light to come back on! I really almost landed in the orchestra pit!! Peter was played by Jean Arthur, and Capt. Hook , as well as Nana the St. Bernard was played by Boris Karloff! I will remember it til the day I die!! If I'm not mistaken Wendy was played by a very young Florence Henderson!! P.S. -- My mom is going through the works as far as a workup. Having a "witness" to the visit really spurred the doctor to investigate her symptoms. He might actually be going overboard with it, but at least he's paying attention now.
