"empty space."

My thought for the day....



We've all heard how even solid objects like rocks and steel are 99.999% empty space.... that the nucleus and electrons of an atom only occupy a tiny portion of physical space, and the rest is "empty."

Science spends much time and energy and money studying the physical part of the atom, but little studying the empty space.

You and I are nearly all empty space. Our brains are almost all empty space.


My thought for the day is....

What is this "empty space.?"

1. Perhaps the study of empty space is

the study of dark matter. I have this on tape but all of the episodes are on YouTube. "Through the Wormhole: Beyond the Darkness" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwcNf1Qvig4. The postulate is -and using computer models- that without dark matter the visible/material would not have formed, but yet it does not interfere with light but is affected by gravity. As said in this episode, it is the "skeleton" of matter.

2. I like this thought a lot...

It's one I have wondered about myself. I bet if we knew that, we'd have a better grasp of what we now think reality is. Without knowing what that is about, it's still all speculation isn't it? We are still in that dark room groping that elephant... or maybe it's too early in the day to go with that image?

Errant or intentional, they are still distractions from our true nature and the true nature of consciousness. And awareness of the Watcher behind that screen of consciousness.
