Any creative suggestions regarding a challenge....
concerning a Revolution of Compassion?

I am rather low on creativity and energy these days, so I'm asking for others' thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks in advance to anyone who offers any ideas. :grouphug: (seems we can't get enough hugs these days...and the ethereal ones feel equally divine to me )

Okay, so there are many wonderful things going on out there; various projects focused on random acts of kindness, different projects focused on "paying it forward" specifically to food banks.

Each and every project beautiful and worthy.

Part of what I find I'm moving toward...when I regain some energy (I'm okay, just tired like most others ;))...is attempting to be more clear in showing all these other groups and community projects how Wishadoo can HELP their projects. Wishadoo offers tools to help spread the word about community projects and connect to others of like mind and heart. Rather than be so fragmented (that's still my pet peeve, all the fragmentation and "fracturing" of efforts), my personal wish is that Wishadoo! can eventually be an umbrella of sorts where the many efforts toward creating compassionate communities gather and truly connect. The Universal Puzzle.

It's very hard though; we're at a point, based on my personal experience and observations of late, that, for whatever reason, people don't want to work together. Maybe "want" isn't the right word; maybe it's that people can no longer imagine HOW to do it.

Individual efforts are wonderful, but there are so many individual efforts that it just feels so fragmented and the energy expended is diffused. If they could connect in some way to form genuine communities, that energy would grow.

Of course, that's just my personal opinion and what I'm seeing and interpreting. ;)

ANYWAY, I'd love to start a Revolution of Compassion, with a petition that people can sign. I'd also love to think of some really creative way to ENGAGE people. Something different, not being done, but something that can truly open the heart -- open the heart to give and receive.

This "something" would ideally have a concrete result, too. For people to see a physical manifestation of their involvement and effort.

I don't know. I keep hearing "Choose love not fear," and "justice not charity."

I haven't connected the dots as to what is something simple and unique that would engage people - and that most people CAN do -- that could be symbolic of this Revolution of Compassion, or at least kick it off.

I love the free hugs, I love the pay it forward (pay for someone's meal and they in turn do the same for another, etc.), I love the "for each click or simple action $1 goes toward this cause" or "for every Facebook member this happens."

Engaging people to not only join Wishadoo but participate in creating it...becoming an ambassador for their community, bringing others into groups there, posting to the wishlist, seeing if they can help a wishlist poster, etc.

What is a good challenge that could, to some extent, achieve the above?

If anyone has the energy to be creative, bless you. Maybe Divine Inspiration will come into play. I get snippets of divine inspiration but no complete picture yet.

:grouphug: and :loveya: to you all! :hi:

1. One idea that comes to my mine

Instead of Revolution of Compassion I would like to offer a suggestion.

I can do up a graphic later on today as I'm about to go to Dallas for Convocation.

My idea is simple and I think it has a more positive benefit.

My vision is would look something like this ®Evolution of Compassion although I was thinking of putting the strike-thru on the circle like the no smoking symbol.

Think it over and consider the idea. But I think a lot of people think of revolution in a negative way, so perhaps this would make it appear more positive.

Like I said I will think about this and offer other suggestions later today after I get back from Dallas.

2. You're very kind, MM....

and I think you're spot on!

I describe Wishadoo! as a social evolution....so indeed, Evolution (even with the symbol before) works much better.

I was going to ask if others respond to the word "revolution" in a negative way; I personally don't, but I'm just one person. I mean, my previous name was "timeforarevolution." ;)

Thank you for the MM wisdom and suggestion!!!

Have fun in Dallas. :hi:

3. I'm like you I don't find revolution as negative, but some people do
I was raised on the Beatles after all so Revolution is a positive word in certain contexts.

Today's Convocation will be an experiment: "Mental Creation" so it should be fun indeed.

8. As you probably figured out graphics are hardly my strong suit
though I *do* relish in symbolism even when "a pencil is really just a pencil." Yet I sorta want to see it be all lower case 'cept the "R" trademark symbol.

Or maybe I'm unwittingly channeling e.e. cummings again or somethin'.

Lower case always suggests humility to me but who knows. . .? It could just be a stealthful cover for unbelievable hubris.

Or maybe you could make the "R" backwards like Toys "R" Us and contribute to turning even *more* kids dyslexic.

(Kidding about the latter suggestion but not kidding about it contributing cause of dyslexia. Kids worship that Toy Store like a church or at least they did when my kid was young. The current Pluto in Sagittarius group of kids are probably far less likely to do so.)

/merc just past station babble

4. I'm so low on creativity lately, that I'm sorry I can't be more
involved and pro active in this endeavor. I've been reading all of the many things you've been writing about different ideas and etc. I really don't know how you can hold all that information in just one little head !! Mine would have exploded by now!! lol. I can however, give you my overall "impression" or "gut reaction" . Rome wasn't built in a day...and it seems like I'm feeling your "franticity"(word?) and keep visualizing you as you referenced once yourself, to a "hampster running on a wheel"!!! I feel the need to stop and take a DEEP BREATH after reading your posts! You're tiring me out girl!! I'm saying this in total love and partial jest and it's just MHO, but you go girl!! I would just hate to see you burn yourself out at this point. Now I need to go take a nap!! Oh,...and I am in complete agreement with the word EVOLUTION rather than REVOLUTION !!! Maybe because it's a "slower process" word as compared to a frantic active word.....or maybe I'm just LAZY these days!! LOVE YA Girl!!

5. LOL!

I hear you, JA. I know I exhaust people. I really, really don't intend to. Believe it or not, I hold back sharing A LOT in order NOT to wear people out.

You guys are the lucky - :sarcasm: - recipients of the vast majority of my sharings and ramblings, so I apologize for any energetic burden or anything draining that occurs as a result of it.

Sorry. :eyes:

Actually, I'm not feeling frantic (good word, franticity!)...it's more a need to do SOMETHING on a consistent basis to attempt to move forward, balanced with simply allowing.

I've witnessed all too often how wonderful projects stagnate and go absolutely nowhere after years and years of effort. I can do the release thing well when I need to. I'm doing that now with the books. My part of that is done. I've done all I can do and can't do any more, nor am I willing to. So, whatever happens, or not, happens. :)

Wishadoo is different. It's just getting started, so I do feel the need to gently nurture things and put energy "out there." Granted, my idea of gently and others' idea of gently may greatly differ. ;)

I'm okay though. No worries.

Thanks for the thoughts and impressions. You know I :loveya: and appreciate you!!!

Edit to add: Some of you may or may not know that these different ideas, creations and ventures I speak of are far from new. They've been percolating in my brain, and I've been acting on them to varying degrees, for more than 15 years. It's just that, suddenly, in the last couple of years they all started coming together -- indeed, like puzzle pieces. So, while it seems like a lot to others reading or listening to me, please realize I've had 15 years to be developing these ideas, so it's not nearly as overwhelming as it seems on my end. I'm not as crazy as I seem (well, not sure about that one......;)).

6. Good Monday morning...
Edited on Mon Sep-13-10 05:03 AM by OneGrassRoot
:hi:

I'm kicking this because I had some more glimpses into this via dreams.

And, I'm also led to share this -- not at all to pressure anyone into offering suggestions, but because I often find that my rambles trigger something within another, about their own projects or ideas. So, I figure it can't hurt to ramble. ;)

Okay, as of this morning this project or challenge feels focused on children, at least to start.

Something about education regarding empathy (see "Empathic Civilization" which I posted here yesterday, a video...so cool), children, and how they can show they're connected and care about one another. Oh geez, literally as I type this I just had a flash about another project from 15 years ago: Universal Puzzle. (I'm telling you, the ideas came about for a reason, as they've never gone away, and they're all rising to the surface right now; I just haven't figured out how to connect all the friggin dots.)

Something about poverty and JUSTICE, too. As far as issues are concerned, I'm very focused on poverty and homelessness. Wonderful organizations such as Amnesty International have great initiatives, and gain a lot of visibility for their campaigns, but it's only about poverty and homelessness in OTHER nations, not here.

I know this sounds odd, but it's as though our poverty isn't "sexy" enough to gain attention, ya know? We have to hide it so we don't diminish the image of The American Dream.

I'm thinking this Evolution (thanks MM!) of Compassion (or maybe even empathy?) is to make it okay, even cool in some way, to be honest about one's struggles; bringing the struggles into the open enable one to get help from others.

It's mortifying to kids to seem different from their peers, so their families' struggles are hidden as much as possible. I don't want to make life harder for them by publicizing struggles, I want to make it okay to be honest about them. Struggles are more common than not these days, so it should be okay to be honest about it; hiding it adds to the stress level.

With this openness and honesty, we can then focus on the love and move away from the struggle.

Starting with the children. It can spread from there.

I could be going crazy (that is VERY possible...lol), but although I only slept a very short time, this is what came through and Wishables were even in there, as they were in a very clear dream in 1998, but their involvement now is less clear. Maybe it's merely the energy of Wishables in play here; the power of a heartfelt wish when the core intention of that wish is the focus.

If I could sleep much more, I'm sure I would have very clear guidance each and every day!

:hi:

As always, thanks for reading, but please don't be worn out by reading. I'm sharing, more than asking for help. If there are ever any thoughts you want to offer as a result of my ramblings, cool; if not, never any worries, even if my posts sink.

Really. :)

9. I empathize completely with your process.
Don't think it selfish or indulgent to need to energetically to step back and recharge yourself from time to time.

The Mercury and Pluto station this week coupled with the Jupiter Uranus conjunction on Saturday all resonate with the current wild fluctuations in energy.

Consider being a bit gentler on yourself now and again and don't forget to breathe.

10. Thank you, stella....
I'm breathing. It's all good. (I think I may come across as more hyper than I really am in my posts, with all the emoticons and such. ;))

(I'm pretty sure this emoticon is breathing and meditating; either that or she's sending kisses!)
