People calling wrong numbers, showing up for appts at the wrong time, missing 2 appts in a row. It's nutso. I don't know much about the "shadow period" of Mercury. Perhaps Stella can explain, I hope. I know that's her "thing"

23. I "lost" my cellphone

I looked everywhere, called the church where I attended a meeting the last I used it, drove there and checked the parking lot. I was almost resigned that I would need to buy a new one..I was apprehensive about having to tell my husband and wondered if I could get out of the contract and use the less expensive phone I had before. I googled about losing it --found out the 3G has a locator if you have mobile-me-- which I do. I signed in, clicked on "find my iphone" and the locator showed it was at my address. It was in my car, in a crevice of the passenger seat but not quite underneath it. It was about midnight when I found it.

Other than that, the hospitals have been overstuffed in my city. The hospital I work at has been over census every day and we are holding people in one day and observation beds. This is a phenomena that was even reported on the news and no one has an explanation-- no flu, no epidemic.

Most of the people I am admitting are here for chest pain or vascular problems (plumbing problems) or abdominal pain (more plumbing issues) and of course, the rebounders (people who were d/c'd too early).

If we are to lend credence to and align ourselves with the belief in the "shadow period of the Mercury retrograde," and there is more than a little rather compelling evidence for this perceived phenomenon, it would last until Mercury passes over the degree at which it most recently did its station. That would have been @ 19 degrees of Virgo. Mercury will pass over that degree very early on the 27th. The 3 day duration theory probably applies to gradations of intensity. It's sorta like the absurdity of quibbling over the exactitude of orbs which can be argued to hinge largely on the somewhat immeasurable sensitivity of the individual.

A "soft science" indeed. :) Woohoo.

Yet the occurrence of the "shadow period" is more than slightly dwarfed by the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus tonight @ 9:07 pm EDT @ 28 degrees of Pisces while Jupiter is at its perigee.

It is often said that Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. The satellite dish I have on my crown chakra confers.

Yeah I too have heard of and experienced all sorts of fallout from Mercurial weirdness yet beyond the most annoying and crazy making influence of the predictable scheduling snafus and items gone temporarily AWOL, Uranus beckons to our higher consciousness to rise above the mundane and embrace a m-m-major change in perspective. One which is bellowing of yet another paradigm shift that implores us to release our presumed stranglehold (which is really quite tenuous) on how we crave our known comfort zones as those of limited consciousness pontificate and try "feudally" to set the way-y-y-y back to the lost and simplistically imagined land of Ozzie & Harriet. Yikes.

"Anyhoo" with a Harvest Moon looming @ 0 degrees of Aries/Libra on the 23rd @ 5:17 am, perhaps we could be mindful of the very intensity of that particular degree especially with all the residual influences of the recent Saturn/Uranus opposition in square to Pluto.

And yup the Chiron/Neptune conjunction is truly nothing to sneeze at.

My eldest son is a professional landscape architect. He's been doing this for 35 years of his 54 year life. Yesterday while walking in his own yard, on slate paving stones that he installed many years ago now, he stepped on one that was wet, his foot slipped right out of his shoe, and that sucker shredded the bottom of his bare foot so badly they had a hard time getting the bleeding to stop! Needless to say he went for a tetanus shot and a few stitches to boot! He will be off of it for a while, so there goes my hopes of getting my yard done anytime soon! But this has been the worst mercury retro for me in 7 years (when the contractor trashed my place with his 'dozer and killed my dream):

I just failed my first Microbiology quiz. Not because I wasn't prepared for it -- it was a take-home and all was reading done, notes ready. But t's an *online* quiz and the system threw me out and denied access at the first question. Professor "reset" the quiz for me -- and the system still won't let me in. I sent her an email on Wednesday letting her know it won't let me in yet -- she still hasn't responded to the email. It's due midnight Sunday night. Not an effing thing I can do.

I was denied financial aid. Again. Told my fault for not filling out a form *I never received*. So they emailed the form...or at least they *think* they emailed the form...but no attachment appears attached to their email. So still no form.

Plus in their email, they mentioned I have something from administration in my "to do" list. So I go to my "to do" list. Nothing appears. No idea what administration is telling me I'm supposed "to do."

As to the building climax, I'm ready to blow. I'm ready to sue the effing university for their unending misrepresentation, eff-ups and then lies to cover the eff-ups.

Past ready to quit the job. Doesn't matter how nice they are to me now. I DON'T CARE.

21. OKAY -- I THINK I KNOW WHAT IT IS...

It's just an incredibly sticky retrograde. We need to blow our way through it...or at least, apparently, that's the only way I can get through it. I think my head has exploded several times this am. Southerncrone is right...and it's all coming to a head right now.

Around 9am I tried the quiz one more time -- voila, I was in. Except I didn't really expect to get in and feel like crap from working overtime yesterday. So I messed up some questions where the answer was literally right in front of me and I didn't see it. So I won't get my usual 100%. Plus my #$%#$!!!! Dell laptop is so hypersensitive that sometimes it clicks through things without me and sometimes *it* picks the multiple choices before I get to. (There is no turning back on this quiz -- you go to next question, you can't fix prior one). As if that wasn't enough, security pop-ups appeared in the middle of *every* question, so I had an extra task to do, giving my laptop another big opportunity to mis-answer a question or move to next question before I could answer the one I was on. But I got through it, screaming and cussing periodically throughout. The application and dialup are SO slow it took me almost 2 hours to do 14 questions, but I got a lot of housework done while waiting for questions to downloand. I got most ok, and many points are better than zero points. phew.

Then at 11am I went to the post office. The form that financial aid failed to email to me was in the mail. I started to read it -- big mistake. I have to write a paper on why I failed to make satisfactory progress and how I intend to do better in the future. :wtf::wtf::wtf: Also that the program director needs to complete and sign a different form...which was NOT included. Well I'm effing sorry that a 3.98 GPA isn't good enough for them and I don't effing know how to do better than a 4.freakin' 0. :grr::grr::grr: And now I need to find yet ANOTHER FORM. So I was cussing loudly about that.

Around noontime I remembered I wanted to check my credit union account because if I remember correctly I can write myself a good-sized loan there at 8.5%. I got in and saw the balance on the card I just activated...and that it was due on 9/15. (8%$&%$2!!!!!!!!!!! :wtf::wtf::wtf: As a result, I've already lost my 8.5% interest and jumped to 18% and that plan is dead in the water. So now I was crying and yelling and cussing all at once. Then I saw a little chat-help in the corner. I didn't expect to find anybody available, but Leo came on. Throughout our little chat session, I repeated timed out, was thrown out, couldn't get back in without repeated tries. But within an hour it was sorted out...the balance due on 9/15 was ZERO...the current balance isn't due until 10/15. And in the meantime, I CAN WRITE MYSELF A LOAN AS BIG AS THE EFFING STUDENT LOAN!!!!!!!

So suddenly....everything is ok again. I've walked the dogs. I've made 2 pans of scottish oatcakes. I haven't done the 3 hours of studying I was supposed to do, but it's ok. I can get through it.

Yes, we just have to push, shove and blow our way through it. It's like a major, major traffic jam. For years, companies have cut back, cut back, cut back. People are forced to do more and more in less and less time. More and more mistakes happen as a result. And it's all jammed up now. Screaming and cussing at the universe does seem to bring some relief -- like a giant nose blow that sends dried up snots flying and opens up a channel for things to run a bit again.

... woman was on her cell phone trying to pull out into traffic - against the light - (I was walking with the light) there was no way she was going to get in unless she cut someone off and apparently it was a risk she was willing to take because next thing I knew, I was on the ground and my library books were in the middle of the street. I was between her and the dog so thankfully he didn't have any injuries, was just freaked out.

She took me to MedCheck (and paid the bill, which I thought was decent) and stayed outside with Max (my dog) while I was being seen.

those who felt it necessary to force me into a psych ward are at it again, and have been, but now is the crux, because they're trying to figure out ways to lie me into jail. Of course, it would be said that I am being paranoid, need more/different meds, need to be locked up, interfered with in some catastrophic manner for talking like this, much less as it is the truth and they are caught out in bad acts. The answer to that is to not engage in bad acts. :shrug:

This is your fear talking, and causing you to act in uncharacteristic manners. The fear and worse, your acting upon it to the detriment of others, is of course to the detriment of yourselves.

So how can someone who can predict earthquakes know this, and not be volcanic'ly pissed off? Because I'm working on not being a pissed-off person, no matter the nonsense through which I must trudge. Including issues with irritation on the spirit side. (Why not try love? Love is compatable with the coming age. You'll like it! Far less damaging on these surroundings and your own souls! Some of the darkness I'm seeing will be Quite costly to those weilding it...please consider other manners of living, such as love.)

And please remember that I can and do predict earthquakes and other items. I am right about this, as I was about the bottleneck and psych ward last time (did some automatic writing on it). People wanted me to change my behaviour back then. I'm happy to leave all of you alone, forever and ever, truly, if you leave me alone. I don't want anything to do with those who fear and harm. Period. That time is coming to an end, which will be comfortable or painful, depending upon where you hold yourselves vibrationally. Yes and no are your answers.

The only time I ever recommend that someone do something other than NOW (when the spirit moves them) is if they are greatly under the spell of a confusing Neptune aspect.

In other words, YES, do it now. That means that you are ready. As I said a while back, I think that astrology is a calendar of your readiness.

A person cannot act at the wrong time - it is not possible. When one finds oneself delaying, we find out that simply, the planets were not "there yet." We human-brained astrologers often feel that we can outsmart God, and we just can't do it. So, we let it go.

Just recently I have given up advising anyone on a surgery date or marital date. I can't beat God and I've stopped my educated guessing.

And, as far as the NO, now is not the time if you are waiting for the "time" to be right. What looks correct astrologically may not be. The problem I find is this: when we are in sync with ourselves and haven't mindfu_ked ourselves too much, we need no such debate or astro guidance. In other words, my best clients are the ones who don't need me.

Overall, these transits would lean me much more towards a YES, because this continual, persistent Pluto transit is pressing us from within to mount sweeping changes!

Did you tell I also have 3 planets in Libra?

5) Jupiter-Uranus in late-degree Pisces, both disposited by Neptune

Sounds like the potential for bewilderment/spaciness to me -- what do you think?

I find your answers very refreshing and they have me rubbing my chin! Of course, the Neptune peregrine says yes to me. The same with the Mercury shadow.

I guess I've been referring not so much to the spaciness, but the inablity to have anything flow through to fruition!

I think this whole thing has a lot to do with the conjunction of Thelma and Louise too, er, Jupiter and Uranus.
Yet, I still am experiencing great amounts of chaos that simply have to be more like a meta-Mercury or so. This phenomally strong tsquare to Pluto has never occurred before in modern times, so how can we compare it? There is something that feels like it's working against us though. People here know me to always talk about how the planets are not working against us. I simply don't know the answers. I'm working my way through it because I believe that we are in virgin territory.

A quindecile is the term for two planets that at 165 degrees apart. The keyword for the aspect is "obsessive".

"Dispositor" refers to the planet that naturally rules a particular sign. Let's say you had Moon in Scorpio. The ruler of Scorpio is Pluto. Pluto is the dispositor of Moon in Scorpio -- or any planet that is in Scorpio. If you had Venus in Aquarius, you know that Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius, so that Venus is disposited by Uranus.

When you take dispositors into account, your understanding of a horoscope becomes deeper, more detailed -- you begin to see how a horoscope functions holistically, instead of focusing on individual parts.
