It's That Time Again
Fall.!!!

The earth is tilting again and the equator is now in direct line with the angle of the sun.

And Jupiter is in line with the earth and sun.

1. I've been feeling it for about a week!
It's supposed to be close to 80 degrees here today, but the temp can't fool me--the furnace was running this morning, and the leaves are already falling. Plus I have pumpkin spice-flavored coffee. That makes it fall in my book.

5. Mine did too!!
It woke me up at 7:30 AM !! I evidently didn't have it turned all the way down as I usually do this time of year! My furnace is in the center hall of my "double wide", and even though it's new, it's loud, and was unexpected. Now all I have to do is call the guy to come look under the house to see how much damage the "outdoor cats" in the park did to my air exchange vent from the furnace to the central air outside. They have all pissed in there, and the delightful fragrance wafts through my whole house when either of them are running!! It's DISGUSTING!!! and here I was blaming my poor Sammy for it!I just wish everyone kept their cats indoors...for their own safety, and my sanity!! I've been pre warned by the repairman that it could cost as much as $500. to remedy the situation. If it's just the one large vent...it will be much less! There is a grid of smaller ones under the house....two the length of it, and six going across to the floor vents on either side!!! $(#!^%$#*!&!!!

2. Yes, it's definitely fall here.
:hi: It came so early this year. I've got on some warm slippers, a blanket on my lap while drinking some hot tea in gratitude for all of it :)

11. Yes, Kimmerspixelated!
And I've got one. Just told the family I'm not cooking tonight. I'm going enjoying this cold weather to the fullest today. I hope it's been pleasant in your neck of the woods

3. Autumn in NC is so nice
Early autumn is a blessing of warm days in the low 80's/high 70's and cool nights in the 50's, then as the season progresses the temps get cooler, but rarely cold. We don't usually get a real frost until sometime well into November -- occasionally it's as late as December.

Halloween is usually warm enough for kids to trick or treat without jackets to ruin the effect of their costumes, and on more than one occasion we've celebrated Thanksgiving outside.

It's a beautiful time of year.

4. I always say that early autumn (Sept, most of Oct) is our actual summer--
no sauna temps and far less humidity. We cook out much more this time of year than during the summer. Loooovin' that nip in the air in the mornings!

8. Someone forgot to tell the weather forcaster! It's 96 degrees here
in Georgia today, and we've had no rain since mid-August. Although it has been cooler at night, my AC and attic fan have been running full tilt since mid-June. This is one summer I'm ready to forget. :-(

9. Same here japple
But the weather forecasters are saying the heat wave should break by the end of the week and be more in line with average temps for this time of year -- they're not giving us as much hope for rain though. Slight chance at the end of the week. Oh well, at least it'll cool off. This poor AC has been cranking for what seems like an eternity.

10. Seems like summer is coming here.
It's been cool in the middle sixties all summer and yesterday it climbed up to 80 and today it's almost as hot as I type this. Crazy weather! No!
