Saturn transiting Libra
snip
As Saturn transits Libra, we are struck by a very interesting phenomenon. Most of the time, a Saturn transit through a Sign takes approximately 2 1/2 years. This transit, however, will not be complete until 3 years (from October 2009- October 2012).

Because of this extra amount of time, it might do us well to study what we can expect from this Saturnian sojourn through the Sign in which it is Exalted.

Saturn as the natural ruler of Capricorn and the Tenth House, rules time and all its ramifications. We think of it as the slow, plodding methodical teacher, meting out Karmic lessons and teaching us to mature and be more careful in planning our course of action.

Full Moon in Aries 9/23/2010
The Aries Full Moon brings the start of a new cycle. As summer comes to a close, we begin the Fall season in the Northern Hemisphere.

The opposition between the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra brings us to confront the yin and yang conflicts between our emotional self identity and the ways we live for others. While both are a natural part of the life experience, it is nevertheless important to resolve this opposition in order to find balance in one's being..

Much of how we feel the conflict of an opposition depends on the Karmic levels we are achieving. On the very lowest of levels, the Aries Moon can bring out selfishness, immature behavior as well as impatient, and narcissistic personality traits that are egotistically self-involved and subjective in their emotional view of life. All of these qualities make it difficult to experience balanced relationships with others.

1. Kick. I think Saturn in Libra is going to be even more fascinating
and difficult than Saturn in Virgo, and that my friends, is saying something.

2. It's not looking too bright from where I stand!
Last time Saturn was in Libra ( late degrees) opposite my N Saturn 23 aries, I was engaged to be married for 2 years...........5th H cusp libra, 7th house cusp sag. -12o capricorn, pluto will be in 7 for 5 years now.............Sure looks like karmic lessons re: partnership doesn't it?
The last time he nurtured my art career & when it started to take off, he fled wanting "Mom" in the kitchen! ( If I had known more about astrology then....we wouldn't have been engaged at all, .....live & learn. His Uranuis was tucked between my merc & venus in aries,& it was a time sensitive situation, which blew!
ANy ideas on what I might experience this time around more evolved than I was then?
