Does the phrase "Days of Separation and Journey" mean anything to anyone here?
I woke up hearing the phrase "Days of Separation and Journey" in my head. I googled and nothing with that specific phrase came up. When I regoogled it for the words, not the phrase, it led me to various things on the hero's journey in myth.

I'd like to know if anyone has heard that exact term before. Weird.
This is not the first time I woke up hearing words in my head.

1. Holy shit....

No, I can't say that, intellectually, it has meaning, but boy it hit me hard to read it.

Like, "Yes! That's exactly IT."

Days of Separation and Journey.

If I get anything else, I'll let you know, but it resonates strongly.

6. Same reaction here!
but I can't elucidate, except to say for myself personally...I feel like I'm experiencing the "separation" part of it already, and looking forward to the "journey"!! Legs aren't doing so good, or maybe they are and I just can't tell yet. They say it takes a couple of weeks to really do it's thing. My brain is evidently being affected too, because I find myself grasping for words, and I can't quite reach them, plus I'm having to re type every other word I write. You should see what a mess this page was before I edited it!!!

16. I'm starting to understand what the phrase means
I see it as personal (I have separated from my family and my past; I feel like I started a new journey) but I also see it as something that many others are going through. I talked to a friend/acquaintance this afternoon. I didn't realize that she and I were going through similar separations and journeys. We also saw that we had the same lesson to learn from the experience -- to learn how to love unconditionally.

Ongoing disagreements have resulted in 'issues.' Doing my best to 're-glue' so we can journey thru life together as we should.

3. Perhaps this is a message for you to write your thoughts on what it means to you
To me the phrase has a mystical meaning and therefore I would be inclined to think more deeply about it and see what happens when I meditate on it, then write down your impressions.

It has a nice ring to it as if it should be a poem and set to musick.

4. Someone who reads but doesn't post just wrote me...

and asked me to pass along this message after having read your OP:

"I have seen that phrase before.
It can mean someone is going to pass on to the other side.In other words a harbinger of death.
It can also mean someone is going to leave a group and go their own way or that a group is about to split apart.
Whether or not this seperation is on good terms depends on other factors and conditions too numerous to go into.Same with whether or not the group or individual comes back together.
It can also mean that a person is about to undergo an internal split. This can be spiritual in nature or it can be that someone is about to flip the fuck out.

The phrase 'interesting times' comes to mind for some reason."

25. It does ring true for me.
My oldest cousin passed away 2 weeks ago. When his sister informed me that he was hospitalized with cancer..........I sent him long distance reiki. I specified ( not being close to the situation) either channel healing or ease of passage. 2 days later he died, quicker than everyone expected.
I have parted company with a group I have been part of for 8 years, because I am no longer on the same ideological channel as they are.
ANd I am now part of the group here, which fits better with my current way of thinking ( or evolutionARY LEVEL OR WHATEVER)
Thanks OGR for the star!

5. Haven't heard it as a term, as such
but when I read your post I immediately thought that it summed up our current collective experience. This is the time of separation from loved ones (not necessarily death, but instead a parting of ways, difference of mind/lifestyle/way of living in the world) and also a time that we all embark on our unique journeys, each one different.

7. Got a whole series of lessons from my primary guide about this
He called it the "pain of separation". It is a time in your spiritual journey when you are choosing to embrace the light. In the old energy (this was in the mid-90's) it represented approaching the halfway point to your awakening. He said it is written about in the ancient texts but I never looked it up. I was too busy trying to "awaken".

It occurs when the "light" energy has enough access to your energies to start pulling you toward the light, yet the old "dark" dense earth energies still have a magnetic pull from behind. Think of it as you being in the middle of two ropes, one being pulled one way and the other being pulled the other way. It was emotionally quite painful, as I recall, but I lived through it and had actually forgotten about it until your post.

I think in the newer, lighter energies of 2010 it is a much easier process.

The phrase "days" of separation makes a lot of sense to me right now in 2010 as everyone is choosing either darkness or light. They must make a choice soon and many of the "others" (others meaning non-lightworkers) are feeling this "push and pull" and don't know quite what it means. Perhaps the message for you is that you will be helping them? I know this is a big part of my life purpose and plan.

Love and light,
Bluestar

8. I keep reading articles about this happening now
They say that the spiritual journeys we are currently on are becoming more individual and private. It has been moving away from community or group embrace as it has been for so many years.

This has also been my experience for a while now. Since I've been exploring the spiritual world, I've met a lot of spiritually minded people, but very few that connect to the same things that I do. I've asked my guides so many times to direct me to the "group" to explore with, as that sense of community was the one part I missed from Christianity. They have told me I'm on my own, as it is meant to be for me and many others. Our individual journeys are as unique as our DNA.

9. I find this fascinating...

as I, too, sense this is what is happening.

And as is usually the case with me, I'm torn between the world we're creating (via our spiritual journey), and the 3D world we're in, and how I am still so pulled to create authentic community to do the work -- the human work -- of creating this new world.

If we're on individual spiritual journeys, how does that potentially affect our desire to come together in community -- online and "real" world?

Maybe they're two very, very separate things. We're all on separate spiritual journeys here at ASAH, yet we still enjoy connecting here to varying degrees based on our own personalities, where we are at the time, our current interests, etc.

Maybe the Unitarian Universalist model is going to become the norm in many ways. Many different spiritual paths -- including no particular spiritual path, per se -- coming together in our human experience, with our actual spiritual journeys being very individual and unique, tapping into our own connection to Spirit.

Which is, I believe, pretty much how most of us are anyway.

This is SUCH an interesting time.

11. I think the individual part is the journey
Edited on Sat Sep-25-10 11:20 AM by Proud_Lefty
How we inter-act with the rest of the world based on that journey is something different. (If that makes any sense at all.) We are not meant to be isolated in this world. Our power sources are just coming from different places, but our goals are very similar. We all basically want to feel happy and content.

Anyway, I'm very social and people oriented and I really want to share my journey with people, but I can only share bits and pieces with this person and a few other pieces with another, and some with others. It's been very lonely and I haven't liked it, but I've grown to accept it. And that helps. I just keep hoping it changes because I love having company on my journeys.

12. That makes sense, PL....

Yep, yep. :) Thanks for expanding upon that. :)

"...can only share bits and pieces."

Yes....and that's something else that has been a consistent pet peeve of mine: fragmentation.

Things feel so darn fragmented and that exhausts me for some reason; it feels that, because of the fragmented efforts, so much energy is needlessly expended. If we could come together more -- those of like heart and like mind -- so much energy could be saved.

Not so much about our spiritual journey, per se, but the doing of daily survival and creation.

14. Yes, I understand your frustration
It does feel very fragmented and exhausting. Funny how we think we take this exhilarating path thinking it'll be complete bliss, and what we find out instead is that it knocks you on your ass, making you wondered what the hell happened. Somewhere I read it is like going through childbirth to get to the other side, not so enjoyable, but well worth it. I thought I was done with childbirth!

Hang in there. We're almost done with this (I hope). :)

26. I am finding.........
I am on my own journey & frequently it is lonely. I can come here and find support from those on similar paths.........
The Universe has brought to my facebook, lots of like minded souls which I find fascinating.................
When I go out among people locally........my encounters seem to be "mission directed", rather than just random.
Last night I went to the local takeout for fish & chips. The young woman who took my order, struck some cord that made me ask if she would be interested, in the Civics oriented Youth Group I am working to start. SHe is. & further conversation proved that her Grandmother worked for the non-profit agency where I served as an AMERICORP VISTA FOR 2 YEARS.............BINGO! CONNECT!
I am building a grid........"we are all one" yet we are all on our separate journeys as well.

I think that's the crux of this new process--that we're all on our own journeys, but we can visit with others and "dip in" when we need recharging.

The spiritual journeys we are currently on are becoming more individual and private.

This really resonates with me, PL. Since leaving my coven three years ago, I've been wondering if I should find a new spiritual group (not necessarily a coven, just a group of like-minded people), but none of them has felt right to me.

What I immediately tuned into was how we leave our spiritual home to incarnate here on earth, and how this physical life is a journey.

40. journey away from NY?
Well, let's just hope it isn't literal. I was just listening to Evelyn Paglini, a witch who is also is psychic, and she says that we in the New York area are going to be subject to flooding. I think this is going on this winter. She said she is getting a sense of tremendous winds, very, very ferocious winds.

She's seeing a lot of death, too, as the earth continues what she calls the "cleansing process."

Many, many more catastrophic events like Katrina. Much of this will be due to earthquakes.

On the west coast, may more forest fires and we will come to find out they are set by humans.

BTW, Paglini's track record is unsurpassed.

dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
All those "d's" are me falling asleep. Guess I'll go back to bed.
