I really like what they are saying about Obama. The Obama bashing, even from our side, has really been getting to me, especially when the comments couldn't be further from the truth.

12. Generally speaking, people know US president Barack Obama only by what he says and what your media report. Most don’t have clue about what goes on “behind closed doors.” You see stubborn partisan politics. We see Obama’s powerful enemies within and far beyond the government who are determined to smash to smithereens his attempts at reform. You see him looking worried and know some call him weak and say he’s leading his country in the wrong direction. We feel his pain as his efforts to improve the lives of all who are downtrodden are scuttled by a few self-servers. You see him trying to end foreign conflicts and think he should stay home and fix what’s wrong in his own country. We feel his discouragement and exhaustion as the dark ones keep stirring up trouble to dash his efforts everywhere.

13. The folks you call “pundits” speculate whether voters will give Obama a second term in office. We sing his praises for staying the course day after day! He has to deal with some of the very ones who threaten his life and his family’s, yet his intention to keep working for a peaceful world without poverty anywhere remains firm. You know that he and his family are protected by the Christed light grid around them, but Obama doesn’t know that. You know that he is a major part of the Golden Age master plan, but he doesn’t know that either. He acts on his convictions, principles, aspirations and innate experience as an honored leader in a highly evolved civilization who agreed to serve Earth in the most demanding position on the planet. If everyone could know this soul as we do, all the doubts and carping about him would come to a screeching halt and you would thank God for this man’s courage, wisdom, spiritual and moral integrity and his willingness to persevere!

2. :-) I was getting the "Matthew Message" vibe just today

... and checked the calendar. Thanks, PL for hipping us to it.

I am thankful that Matthew shared their sense of President Obama - it has allowed me to hold the hope energy even when I get swayed by all the rantings. I know he is doing the very best he can - even when we cannot see it. I trust him to do right by this country. (And send him and his family many blessings for their part in this whole drama.)

Good news from Matthew, I'd say! (Although wondering if I should just move my IRA to all cash for a bit. Hmmm...)

3. I just read it myself.

TPTB are very dark and must indeed be threatening him with all sorts of stuff we can only imagine; and we don't want to imagine it.

This I do not understand: Matthew's messages always say Obama is sent for a divine mission.
Whereas, people like David Icke say he's just like all the other politicians and illuminati -- shapeshifting, reptilian, slit eyes, yada yada. Now I have never seen anybody, in person or on TV, do what he describes.

Just wondering what gives between these two different interpretations.

4. I read a lot of David Icke too ...

... and found myself becoming very, very, VERY cynical. I do think there is an Illuminati (not because Icke OR Matthew said so but I just "feel" it and that's my sense of true north) but I disagree that Obama is a part of it. And that's where I parted company with Icke. Think about it, though. If Icke came out and said what Matthew claims is true, he would be laughed out of town even harder than he was when he started. He has a vested ($$) interest in keeping that fear going. His gig is totally up if he goes down that road. With so much stacked against Obama, I suspect he believes that's where the $ is now.

Just my .02. I share your thoughts, MOL. Love to hear what others think about this.

5. That is so interesting, mysticalchick....

I've noticed that a lot lately -- the fear thing. And it crosses spiritual and political lines...it becomes one big blur.

Like you, I believe there are Those -- TPTB, Illuminati, whatever label is appropriate and applicable -- who seek to do harm, and have been successful in doing so for eons.

I also believe we can be aware of these efforts and not hide our heads in the sand while simultaneously focusing on positive solutions.

So many get sucked into the negativity...it's very easy to do...been there, done that, myself. By the time many people realize they are completely immersed in the negativity and filled with hate and fear -- and thus can't even imagine doing anything but fighting, can't imagine positive solutions -- it's too late.

It's a fine line to walk between staying aware and crossing over into make choices based on fear and anger.

I'm observing many on the "left" -- in both a political and spiritual sense -- being more focused on fear and anger than moving forward and creating a new way based on love.

6. A while before the presidential election

A gal that channels for me, who is usually always very accurate with the current behind the scenes explanations, wrote me an email stating that she want was in deep meditation and got extremely strong messages from her guides that Barack Obama needed to become our next president, that he was of the light and needed our support in the election. This really shocked me because this gal was never really one to even discuss politics with me before. They said so many things to her that completely mirror what Matthew says. And she never reads Matthew.

I've watched Obama's mannerisms so closely and he projects himself as someone who is trying to do right and someone who honestly cares. During his presidential campaign, I went to see him come speak in Los Angeles. As people were crowded around him to hear him speak on a rather hot day, one lady passed out. Obama was standing on the stage, calling for help for this lady. I could not have imagined Bush or Cheney caring like this. He just has that compassion that seems so rare in our politics.

When Obama came into office, he immediately started making good on his campaign promises, but quickly started backtracking. I'm sure that he was quickly told when he got in who really makes decisions. If he fought that, he wouldn't be effective for us at all.

I have a good friend who always tells me how much she distrusts Obama and the things she hears about him from a liberal radio station really panics her. Everything she tells me of what she hears is unsubstantiated and sounds like Fox News, but she said it's from Pacifica radio. i don't listen to Pacifica, but I knew some staunch liberal people long ago that listened to it. Anyway, my friend is a lovely person, but every time Obama is brought up, I see misplaced anger and ignorance emerge in her whole demeanor until I can get us off the subject completely. It's very upsetting that these forces are out there and are causing so much turmoil for someone we need so desperately to help us. I pray for Obama often.

Thanks, Japple. People that believe as we do need to know we're not alone and that Obama is not alone. He is surrounded by so much light, it can even be felt and seen.
