All of a sudden my beads are *selling*!

I have a contract to make 15 pagan prayer bead strands, have just sold a mala and, as I went to get the information to pack up the mala, another sale, this time of a Catholic rosary, came through. And I have an inquiry for a custom tasbih. The contract will be a little bit of a challenge, thanks to the hand injury, but the PT at the hand clinic cleared me to do it, and says the injury is healing well. I'm allowed out of my splint 4 hrs a day (though I can't do any resistive work during out-of-splint time).

I am not one to think that life sucks (final scene of "Life of Brian"? that's me in a nutshell). But it's a relief when, instead of a pile of problems to be solved when one wakes up in the morning, instead one gets a pile of solutions to enjoy :)

I stopped trying to sell my jewelry/artwork because I just was not getting any response.

I put my pillows up on my blog and then people complained about the picture quality. :shrug:

I had my eye on some prayer beads--I think I'll put it on my Christmas list, before Mr. MG buys "me" another $150 universal remote. :eyes: (He tends to "panic purchase" if I don't give him a very full, clear list of things I want.)

How is your hand doing now? Obviously well enough to do most of your work. What's the outlook on how much longer to fully healed?

Oh, I just went looking to see if you had posted in the DU Marketplace, and thought you might want to bump that thread up, maybe get a little more business :)
