Hi you wonderful insightful peeps.....need some help. |
|
Looked in my purse.
No wallet.
Don't know how long it's been gone. DH pays for everything, and I don't have any idea when I would have last gotten it out and checked my money or gotten out my DL or anything.
It's a dark green leather fold in half with a gray snap buckle closure. The kind that's about four inches square when folded up.
I'm completely baffled and meditating on where it could be or could have fallen out. I already checked the front and back seats of the car and under the seats.
Thank you all so very very much for all you do for the ASAH family!

But that could be random nothing.
i know how hard it is, I lost a paycheck this week and had to have a new one issued. Felt as lost as that piece of paper for a while!

2. Ah just read the almost accident thread |

Did you put it in your coat or get it out for any reason?
Could it have fallen out when you stopped after almost getting T-boned?
Some ideas to maybe spark memory!

Okay, I am not Catholic, but I always ask St. Anthony's help whenever I lose something -- and I'll be danged if he doesn't ALWAYS help me locate the missing item. It is truly amazing.

5. I've been invoking Tony. Thanks for reminding me of that. |

I called the DL bureau today and they want a birth certificate or a S.S. Card. My S.S. card was in my wallet, so I gotta dig for a birth certificate in my files.
Maybe my middle name should have been "Demerol" since that's on my BC, info about Mom's anesthesia.
I remember she told me that she was definitely NOT getting enough drugs to not be in pain. Childbirth in the fifties, I guess.
I haven't gotten upset about losing my wallet, i figure it won't do any good to get bent out of shape. Now that I'm older, living in a soap opera doesn't do any good and merely raises my BP and crying jags will probably bring on a sinus infection.

6. I still feel very calm about it. |

I am not worried about my credit cards, there are no unwanted charges on my bill.
I think it must be misplaced rather than really lost, because I have not cried, or gotten upset about it.
That is my theory.

8. Sorry that you still haven't found it, MoL. |

I'm glad that you're able to view it dispassionately. It would be wonderful if it just popped back up at some point.

11. I haven't worn a jacket in six months, here in Texas with the heat. |
|
It's just recently cooled off somewhat. It's still not what I consider slacks weather.
