What of the king stag when the young stag is grown...?

I just finished re-reading some of my Mists of Avalon series, so i guess i am walking a little in the Otherworlds these days....

but this headlline in GD blew me away

So I am wondering what significance it could have to our collective transitions right now, too..
something of the past is definitely passing on, what comes to replace it? a Hero? a Herione? the Light? hmmmm....

Bran, pictured above, is associated with the King Stag - and the male counterpart/consort to the goddess was usually sacrificed at this time of year on Samhain. but Bran is also known as Ares, and Aries was our last full moon, so there's some powerful energy afoot, i think.

what else? anyone?

1. There is an extremely powerful push occuring

demanding that we leave behind lower energies and that which does not serve us. We have to get in line with it, as it seemingly intends to move us out of the doldrums and fear, into a positive place where we may walk in joy. Which is where we need to be RIGHT NOW in order to carry off this election.

2. I saw that on the Daily Mail site yesterday

Didn't consider the symbolism till you mentioned it, FL. But if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that it is indeed another message that it's the end of an era.

I found it very significant that the original version of the DM article (since edited) stated that locals/witnesses believed it was killed by wealthy hunters. (The newer version waters it down and says the same as the Guardian article--that wealthy people would have been willing to pay a lot of money for the antlers). Just another thing our "top 1 percent" has slaughtered to satisfy their own greed, at the expense of our world's balance, perhaps? :shrug:

I like the closing of the Guardian article: "Still, Donnelly added, the empire may yet survive: he said he had seen a very large young stag in the last few days – a magnificent beast that could well be the result of the Emperor's activities during a previous rutting season."

I think this world still has a chance. But we need to bring in the new, definitely. ;)

3. powerful stuff indeed

so i guess the question becomes, what do we choose the new era to BE.

if the wealth & greed is no longer our chosen path of how this civilization works, then putting our vision and preayer into the New emerging choices is very powerful...

seems like i have been seeing this emerging for a long time now...maybe this winter is a good dreamtime for it to become reality

4. The positive path is still only an idea. More people need to "get on board" for it to work.

The new energy does not preclude a majority from creating a negative direction! It takes more positive action than the negative. This is a battle of wills, and sitting around waiting for something positive won't create something positive.
