Is anyone else here experiencing this?

For the last several months I've just had this feeling of expectancy...as though something is coming/happening. It's difficult to describe, but it's almost a "fearful" feeling that has been increasing. Anyone else? Any insights?

More energy is coming into our lives. What works for me is sacrificing false beliefs, those that I know get in my way; surrendering and other time, holding the tension so that it unfolds into insight.

2. Anxious and manic in alternating cycles

I feel a constant gnawing in the pit of my stomach, even after a good meal (so it is not hunger). I am hopeful of the changes that COULD come, while fully aware what could happen if those changes don't happen.

I also feel my time to pass is near, and am actually sorta relieved, except I worry for my children.

"anxious and manic in alternating cycles". That's exactly what I've been feeling. I keep comparing it to the "nesting" I felt before I went into labor with my kids.

3. I've been having a nasty bout of anxiety the last few days.

It comes and goes. It has no known source (I don't have panic disorder). I feel that "something" will happen soon, probably in the political sense. I hope the anxiety goes after that.

4. Yes, youthere, are not alone. I have felt this sense for years...

However, I try not to go down the FEAR path, if I can help it. It's more a feeling of Expectancy, like you said.

Big picture, my intuition tells me all is in Divine Order and the chaos we are experiencing is all part of our planet re-birthing itself into a higher state of consciousness. As we mothers know, being in labor is hard work, but so worth it in the end.

The challenge for all of us, in these times is to be the stillpoint in the storm. Be the place of Calm, of Trust, of Peace, of Love. Work on ways to create Peace within oneself.

Granted, easier said, than done...but a worthy goal, nonetheless.

Thanks for the insight. I like what you said about avoiding the "fear" path. Fear invokes a feeling of irrationality, and of helplessness. I lose sight of this at times.

5. Not too much

I've been busy with school and the like. It comes here and there but I've lately made this pact to send all my worries and fears to God. Whether about relationship(s) or something like an attack. I told myself from now on I'm going to worry about things that I can control. It's useless for me to worry about things I have no control over. If I die then I die. Y'know? And I think if something was going to happen my guides would warn me if it was going to effect me. So I just am not worried about it anymore. No sense in being scared all the time. I don't want anything to happen and I pray often for safety but somethings are out of your control. :hug: Remember what FDR said: "The only thing to fear is fear itself." This quote has helped me out so much in life. :) I hope it helps you.

9. I have had this feeling of dread since hearing that Bush

was running for President against Al Gore. Things seem to just be panning out as I felt very strongly that they would...... getting worse as well.

I fear that I am compromising my own life or sanity by letting this stuff get to me "too much", so now I am trying to back off of giving it all too much of my attention and energy.


Nneed to nurture myself and other parts of my reality now.

We have little power over this process anyway, IMO, so better to recognize this as well.

10. Well

I recently realized that my astrological ascendant (Leo) has been going through a build up to a Saturn transit, as is Bush's.

Yes, I know the feeling you describe, but a lot of pressure fell off of me personally a few days ago when Saturn hit the degree (thanks to DU astrologers, this has become clearer).

13. Something IS coming.

Significant Other and I began to feel this at about the same time in 2003. If only one of us "gets" something like this, we tend not to worry too much--but when we both feel it, we pay strict attention.

We felt compelled to move out of the city into the country. We were able to buy my late parents' home and acreage without a problem; the whole deal proceeded effortlessly. I am told that is a sure sign that a thing is meant to happen.

In the going-on-two-years since we moved to The Sticks, we have seen many aspects of life in bu$h-O-Murka take a decidely downward turn.

Something major is on the way, but I be go-to-hell if I can see what it is. I don't think it's Good--at least for a while!

I've had this nagging urge to break away from "the ways of the world" and a need to become more self sufficient.Its a need to break our dependance on technology and the like. It's difficult to describe, I can only campare it to the nesting insinct I had before I gave birth to my kids. My husband and I have lived in the country for a long time, and we've always gardened and had a few chickens-but over the last several years it has turned into almost an urgency to live more off the land, and acquire livestock etc...

I've also had this compelling urge to clean house and get rid of everything I don't use -- like I'm "clearing the decks" for something else.

"clearing the decks"...it's like a desire to "prepare" for something. I keep calling it nesting, but it seems to be much deeper than that. I feel so unsettled, like I have to hurry and get something done.

Have you noticed that most of humanity is already ahead of the established governments? It's hard to tell in America, what with the controlled media picking the images and stories to show and tell. The reason that you may be describing a fearful feeling is due to the nature of the culture we find ourselves in. An emphasis on escalating the fear quotient in order to foster control. But even through all the weather disasters recently, most of the people acted from this higher resonance, although you'd never had known it from the MSM.
