I don't even know how to get this going, but a suggestion was made in the
"I'm Concerned" thread about establishing a thread to discuss flashes of intuition and symbolism or metaphors as applied to our world today.

So there: I've started it. Let's keep it going. Please don't be afraid to post. Even the most basic insight is important because it helps you build mystical muscle, so to speak. We are all trying to develop those parts of our brain that have been dormant for so long, and we are all at varying levels of wakefulness, so if we can help each other along in a positive manner, it will be for the benefit of all.

1. Ok.

I don't have anything new to share; just this one thing that has been crystal clear to me all year:

We are on our way up. Change is occurring, and more change is coming. It will not, and cannot be stopped at this point. Whether that change has to do with climate change, personal growth/changes, national/political change of direction, or world-wide political growth and change, it's happening.

We don't see it all on the surface, but it's happening, and it is inevitable. We are in a time of major change. We can jump on and ride it out, or let it run right over us.

2. Besides Love being a universal truth, I also see CHANGE

as inevitable and unstoppable. We think that it all is going so fast now that we can't keep track of things, even on the level of technology and economic/political forces, well, this is only the beginning. Because of increasing forces of resistance (which we all have to some degree unless we are enlightened :-)).... global and personal conflict and unbridled ego-driven change is only going to get much worse IMO.

I have come to the conclusion that holding Love in my heart and consciousness will be the only way to ride out the storm. To try to give up trying to understand the chaos and contradictions in our world, our relationships and ourselves and try to focus on the Light and the Love that is inherent in every situation and thing....

Personally I have been resisting totally accepting change, but lately detect a turning point in my perception.
I am going to have to learn more to trust.......:scared:....... really, this is a difficult concept for me!

4. I think so too

I think it'll happen really fast and once it's done with everyone will feel it and a great *Sigh* over everyone. Hopefully it'll be over soon.

3. Sometimes, somewhere out of the blue, I have powerful feelings

of love for Mother Earth and they nearly sweep me off my feet. It always happens when I'm outside, maybe looking at the sunset or the moonlight and stars. It's very emotional and makes me quite misty.

In some of the reading I've done, several writers have mentioned something about an influx of love coming to our planet and raising our vibrational level sometime, I think, in August 2005. Wish I could remember more details. Does anyone else remember anything about this?

5. Two evenings ago I was walking my dog at the beach,

the sun had already gone down while a few rays were still lighting up the sky from the West. These last rays were contrasting with long, thin lines of black clouds, and this was so lovely it choked me all up. Temporary paintings of clouds often do this to me.

I know what you mean and have had these strong feelings of awe of earth's beauty ever since I can remember.

There is a lot of talk about the raising of earth's vibrational level, so much that I think we hear of various ideas and predictions on this.

6. I've been having a feeling that things are going to be moving very fast...

and kind of snowballing during the time that I'm visiting my family (Dec. 23-30). Sort of like history will be unfolding while I'm there. Nothing more specific than that.

7. This is interesting....

to me this would be kind of an eager, excited feeling. How is it for you?

It could be any kind of history, couldn't it, hn2?
Of the Universe, global, national, or even familial/personal?

This is what makes your feeling so intriguing to me.

10. Your questions prompt me to realize that it is a little more specific...

than I said. The feeling is specifically about the U.S. political situation, and it's a feeling of positive movement, from our point of view. It is a somewhat eager excited feeling but in a very subdued way. Rationally I think, how many times have we thought, is this finally it?

8. It seems to me, too, that time has been moving faster and faster

for the past couple of years or so. But when I try to think how or why, it boggles my mind. I wonder if the earth is spinning faster. Several channellers have mentioned this as well about time being compressed.

9. Didn't the tsunami speed up the earth's orbit a bit?

Only fractionally, but I remember reading that it did. Time does seem to go faster, though.

11. I don't know if this is the type of thing that you were expecting to be...

posted in this thread, but I thought that it would still be welcomed even if it isn't exactly what you were expecting.

I've always been really interested in how manifestation works. I still don't have much insight in reference to it, but I do have one situation that I feel that I now understand better.

A while back, my friend and I were going to a meeting of a spiritual group at a large meeting house that had a small parking lot with about 12 spaces in it with one entrance/exit. I always try to remember to ask the Universe for a parking space prior to getting to wherever my destination is, but I didn't this time. (I'm not really good at manifesting parking spaces anyway.) I drove my car into the parking lot and discovered that there were no spaces available. A car came in immediately behind us and immediately found a space that was in the middle of the lot. Neither my friend nor I saw this now very conspicuous space 5 seconds before. It seems as though the Universe had made it look as though all of the spaces were taken so that a space was available for the car that was right behind us. I absolutely believe that the people behind us had asked that the Universe make a parking space available for them. (Almost everyone who goes to this meeting house is interested in metaphysical things.)

Although I was a bit disappointed that the Universe had hidden a space from us to give to someone else (because, of course, the Universe should love me best ;)), upon thinking about it more, I felt very blessed to be allowed to see how this particular manifestation worked in at least this case. I love it when I receive gifts like this from the Universe! This knowledge meant far more to me than getting a parking space would have meant.

it. It was waiting for you.

It is YOU who didn't love yourself best.

You have just given me a wonderful insight and, although I've been saying it to myself for years (maybe parrotting is a better term): "the answer is within," "look within," "therein lies the answer," I haven't really been applying it to myself. I'm convinced that we're all here on this planet to bring it back to love and the way to do that is to learn to love oneself.
