Al Gore
Al Gore made quite an impression on Monday. He seems to have come back into the public eye after five long years. Does anyone care to make a prediction, astrologically or psychically, regarding his future in politics? Here's a link to Astrodata's info on him, in case you want his birth info.

For me, he was a breath of fresh air. He spoke his mind and didn't mince words. His retort to Gonzalez about a special prosecutor was masterful and cut right to the heart. I like him more now than I did in 2000.

1. he is a little more humble now and i think that makes him real.
i know i can relate to him more than i could when i voted for him in 2000.

Sorry, I can't make predictions (I can talk about 'alternative healing', don't know astrology except what people care to teach here.)

2. I think he is
a firehouse. He is the ONLY Dem that has consistently spoken the truth, and still is, goddess bless him.

I think I've seen his chart in the forum at some point. IIRC he is destined for a comeback. He is certainly a major player now, and that could be it. He made the freakin WHITEHOUSE issue statments defending themselves. That's pretty big in this day. Of course more and more catch on. That's the tipping point. And his wife's name is Tipper. So yeah.

Unfortunately, I think that charming Bill's popularity with we liberals has seen the fade.
He consorts with the criminal Bushes. I cannot stomach that. Let not Al Gore fall into that trap. For the sake of us all.

4. I do too.
I think in 2000, and the eight years prior actually, he did not let his light shine.
It does now and it is a welcome sight indeed.

5. question, I felt positive energy during his talk
when I watched the Alito hearings I felt positive energy from many of Dems but nothing
or negative energy from Alito and the witnesses, did anyone else feel this?

than I did in 2000. I was just a dumb kid back then. In college, nose to the academic grindstone. I was a voter and a liberal, but convinced that activism wasn't worth my time if it fucked up my perfect grades. Little did I know that the Bush Admin's economic policies would make the future I was planning so delicately for an unreachable dream in less than one year. I didn't learn anything meaningful about Al Gore until 2002, when I read James Bamford's Body of Secrets. Want to know the real history of this country since WWII (told in a restrained, almost a-political voice, of course)? That's your book. Al Gore's reason for being in politics is hidden within it. Like his father before him, he's a statesman you can trust.

Thanks for posting Astrodatabank's analysis. That's one of my favorite places and the discussion about Al is fascinating. Even though I have his chart info on my astro.com page and monitor it daily, some details will be lost to my amateur's eyes.

There's one thing I can't get past: Al is a Sun opposition Neptune person. One thing I've read this can mean is a person who may be misperceived by the world, because social (and in Al's case, public) illusions poison other's views of him. This is what I feel screwed him over in 2000 and beyond. It's still happening today. He just can't get the media to portray him fairly and the public, even OUR public, clings to their negative, illusory views of him.

7. I think it's changing
I read about someone who was a rabid Bush follower in 2000, he says that he is totally
disgusted with the Republicans, he is not overly enthused with the Dems, he still wants
small government and fiscal responsibility but he admires Gore a great deal. He says
that he is direct, honest, a leader, and someone who believes in the constitution
and the framework of our laws.
