Spiritual growth instead of anger at political situation

About 25 or 30 of us, all progressives as far as I can tell, meet once a week to study the teachings of Chagdud Tulku (1930-2002), a Tibetan lama. We've met twice, I've read just a few pages of the book we are studying, yet I've already melted some of my anger at the Administration - not all, I'm a long way from that, but some and that's a start. What has changed me is looking at those who took us into this war, not so much with anger but with compassion for the horrendous karma they are bringing on themselves. My own thought is that, for their spiritual growth, they would be fortunate to be impeached; they could then maybe start learning what they did wrong instead of continuing to build up the damage.

Lama Shenpen Drolma, who compiled and edited Chagdud Tulku's teachings - CHANGE OF HEART THE BODHISATTVA PEACE TRAINING OF CHAGDUD TULKU - is the resident lama of the Iron Knot Ranch ([e-mail]). She's a young woman, I'd guess in her 40s, a political activist who became discouraged at how little she was accomplishing and turned to Tibetan Buddhaism and Chagdud Tulku for guidance. What I've read so far is very much directed to dealing with political anger and discouragement, and I highly recommend it - I'm buying a copy for my sister, who is even angrier than I am about the Administration. (She has reason to be angry - for years her congressman was Newt. Talk about having no representation.) We didn't know that we retired to a small town in the southwest corner of New Mexico for spiritual growth, but that's what we've found. This was Apache country at one time, is still mining country. There is something deeply spiritual here and I feel blessed to belong to a group that is not only political progressive but also spiritually seeking. (Lots of alternative medicine here too.)

1. I Agree!!

I've been sending light to BushCo for about a year. It's been a difficult thing to do, and sometimes I don't succeed, but I agree with you regarding the fact that impeachment would be the best thing for their spiritual growth--hence sending them light. I think we all have to clear our resistance and fear to this administration. That only gives them power--in fact, I think it is the only power they have as they have no inner spiritual core. So if we would all concentrate on clearing this resistance, they would tumble like the house of cards that they are.

My guides describe light as being "the overall experience of life in awareness, seeing its magnificence and lessons for us to learn".

But here is one of the "19 tricks or Weapons of Massive Reconstruction for Global Amelioraltion" included in a plethora of recent writing. Instead of projecting light or hatred consider projecting violet-purple light of transmutation via St. Germain. Just an idea.

Violet-purple light trumps all in the spectrum. (Blue plus red = purple if ya haven't noticed.) Just as truth trumps belief every time. There is simply more that unites us that divides us.

"However, guidance emphatically suggests that if more true souls ("you will know them by their humor" ), participate actively, in the mendings, the more easy the transition will be, from where we are, in some areas, most despicably now, to where we will ALL mostly be, in the future. 2.Visualize the planet bathed in a regal violet-purple light at least once
daily. If you want to see things change massively, for the better, for
ALL, really fast. For global embetterment, consider targeting in greater
specificity, centers of government, financial, industrial, and media
centers, and the buildings that house energy firms, chemical plants, and
those domiciles of often misguided, short sighted and most greedy, and
mostly, self absorbed executives. Those who have thought themselves to
be in control, prepare to get collectively zapped by "truth-i-nators."

Ohhhh. . .
and don't forget all the Churches, Temples, Mosques, skyscrapers,
housing developments, trailer parks, gated communities, assorted
yurts.. Sweat Lodges, work out zones, schools, day care centers,
hospitals, playgrounds, and of course, police stations, court houses,
prisons, and houses where, within which, you may sense, troubled souls
still dwell. Just don't project it towards my yurt. (kidding.) You can, but if
only you can find it. It's not always entirely visible from the road.

Maybe just simply see violet-purple where ever you go. If that seems too
difficult and overwhelming to some, then at least, focus on the whole
planet, in it's entirety. But consider focusing violet-purple also on
places to which your heart strings are especially attached . Mostly,
everyone, has places like that. Gaia wouldn't mind if you do it to
specific locations in nature either. But do try and stay alert as ever,
especially while operating heavy machinery.

It is really easy to project violet-purple light when earth icon
appears on screen. Consider scrolling down at the link here. . . .

unaccustomed to regular visualization.

Still some others, may enjoy concentrating on specific regions where
there is on-going conflict, such as Israel, Iraq, and the whole of the
continent of Africa, the areas most recently afflicted by the wayyy most
horrific benzene spill in China, which is foully floating towards Russia.
The spotted leopards and the Siberian tigers are at risk, to say nothing
of the multitudinous human beings residing there. Ughhhh. Also
consider concentrating on regions that have been afflicted by recent
weather devastations, or where earth changes which have recently
occurred . Feel free to choose your "pet causes" on which to concentrate.
There are just sadly, so-o-o many, that I can't even begin to mention them
all. Though I have made an effort.

Simply begin with whole planet, first, as we are unquestionably ALL still
here. Then consider, following your heart. It may change dramatically
from day to day. That could be great fun, as variety persists, as ever,
in being a spice most always, fragrantly inspiring . You see, with more
than your physically ocular function.

Reactivate perhaps with greater focus. your pineal gland, and your
corpus callosum. Anyone who has ever walked into a room of people,
and who has known instantaneously, with whom they would like to speak,
and with whom they rather would not, has used their third eye. It simply
sort of like any other muscle, The more you exercise it, the more
responsive and agile it becomes. Ahhh, and steroids are, as ever,
completely inadvisable.

As with ALL souls, some third eyes are simply, more near sighted and
some are more farsighted. Though ALL souls can see Gaia turning
violet-purple for a minute or two. She is simply somewhat bruised, and in
ways, and at times, is altogether irked, from OUR long term collective
stupidity, and she simply warrants some attention and acknowledgement
of her bruising right now. How could we treat our ]Earth mother, as a
battered wife for so long ? It truly boggles my mind and pains my heart
and soul greatly."

8. I think we all have collective karma we are working on

There are many types of karma, one is collective karma (group karma). And for those of us for whom the hatred burns the hottest and deepest it may be a deep karmic wound. It has taken me a while to sort all of this out. I know that I had power issues (use and abuse) in past lives and now in this present life I have come back to work on that. Hence I was born into a life under the the corrupt despotic Bush regime.

Bush's evil struck me earlier than most. I was inadvertently connected to one of his failed business deals (he and his cronies took over a company I was working for) and it was hell on earth. Everything that man touched was burned to the ground, and he walked away scot free with lots of money. That was many years ago, and I was well aware what it meant when he stole the first election and what our lives would be like. Like sheep to the slaughter. I watched it happen year by year.

I have mixed feelings about my hatred. On the one hand I know that my hatred may fuel their energies and I work every day to let it go and learn what I am supposed to learn.

On the other hand we are in human bodies with feelings that occur for a reason. We are meant to learn about that or we might just as well have stayed in the spirit world.
The hatred I feel is justified as I watch the Bush regime murder innocent men, women and children daily. To sit by and not feel the anger and hatred seems wrong too. So I continue to struggle with balancing it all. I can't let my hatred destroy me, but I cannot bliss out and pretend that all is well either. I pray on this issue as it is a complicated one. With no easy answers. I also pray that I have the courage and wisdom to handle this life the best way.

PS Some of you do not have the deep wounds because you have been kind enough to volunteer for living under tyranny and greed to burn off collective karma for the universal good. Accruing karmic pints in the bank for some purpose.

4. My teacher sends light to Bush all the time

It's hard when he keeps doing dumb things, but she's made a habit of just holding him in the light, holding his hand, showing him that talking to God involves listening to Him as well. I haven't tried it much myself but I do believe I will. He may be Rove/Cheney's puppet, but he does hold the power. Perhaps he'll see the strings soon and bring them down himself. Stranger things have happenned...

6. I have tried to send Bush positive energy many times ...

I don't think its working, but it won't stop me from trying.

I used to get mad at all those stupid W stickers I see all the time here in Georgia but I realized that I will be mad ALL the time if I do that.

I also try to send a little positive energy their way ... if they aren't trying to run me off the road in their Big-Ass SUV'S or vans. LOL

What really burns me though is how many Bush/Cheney/W stickers appear on business vehicles. (Trucks or vans.) I just wonder why these so-called business people think I need to see their political affiliation emblazoned all over their vehicles. Quite frankly, there have been many businesses I have avoided because they stuck a Bush related sticker on their truck or van.

allegiances to the B* regime, Chi-Town Exile. They have the right to their opinions, but I figure that, when they do this, it means that it's an important part of who they are, and I'd just rather not be associated with that energy if I can help it.
