Speak to me of a Neptune square Uranus transit.

Supposedly, the next few months for me may be filled with revelations of an unpleasant variety, or of new levels of insight revealed suddenly. I...don't love what that sounds like. I don't like surprises, or strange new developments popping out of nowhere. Also, supposedly this transit is rare. Does that mean I won't have to go through it again? Finally, does anyone here think this is not, as one web page proclaimed, a good time for me to be exposing myself to any special kinds of consciousness-raising experiences? Apparently, I may be more vulnerable to attacks from negative influences at this time.

I really like the astrodienst astrology site. Have you used it before? Every Thursday it allows you access to all of the transit for the day and those with long term influences. It has a bunch of other free readings too.

perspectives. I might actually have to hit the books on this one, though, because as is sometimes the case, astro.com's info is a little limiting and Google hasn't been as helpful as I'd like.

Here's a few things I found. You can make your own interpretations.

Astrology aspects - Uranus square Neptune / Neptune square Uranus The last square aspect happened during the period 1952-56, and influenced the people born during that phase. This was the second phase of post-war children, born into a time of relative stability and reconstruction, when the memories of the war were ebbing away into past history, even though the Korean War was rekindling some of them.

5. Well, three weeks later I can safely say: no secrets out.

This transit is more about discovering (some) new capacities for growth and change within myself. I hope. As a Taurus, I am still uncomfortable with rapid or sudden changes. They tend to be shocking and upsetting to me.

I agree that Astrodienst is an excellent site- I use it almost daily. They use Robert Hand's transit descriptions which are primo. What they don't do, however, is take into account the signs and houses in which your natal Neptune and Uranus are posited, and the condition of these planets. Without that info, it is difficult to say much about how the transit will affect you personally.

If you don't already have it, I'd recommend Robert Hand's "Planets in Transit" for your library since you obviously have an interest in astrology. Since astro.com generously tells us our daily transits, it is easy to look them up in the book (much longer descriptions than the online version). And since you can see your transits on that site (houses, etc. which are not always listed)the book can give you a much fuller picture of your transits.:)

Edited to add: Since this a Neptune transit it will actually last a couple of years- the orb of aspect will change as Neptune retrogrades. I apologize if I am telling you something you already know.
