Manifestation Check-in Group : Check in thread #2
If you've started working on manifesting desires, or have started to see any positive results share here! :hi:

I'm starting a new thread so that the other check-in thread can primarily be for those that want to express their desire to join us, as well as for those that want to read more about how to go about doing manifestation work individually.

Best wishes to all,
bliss_e. :)

1. I'm so excited about mine!!
I decided on a software program. I had looked at my section of Webmaster and graphics software books and realized that it's been a whole six years since I finished my Webmaster certification. Many of the programs I'm using now are the same ones I used back in '99!

As you well kmow, one has to stay current if one is a Webmaster (I am not exclusively a Webmaster--I am a university professor and also a Webmaster).

So I decided to focus on Photoshop CS2. The last version of Photoshop I purchased was 7.

I couldn't imagine how this software was going to manifest itself because I sure wasn't going to spend the many hundreds they want for it.

The very next day my husband arrived home from Switzerland, where he has been on a business trip for 10 days. After walking in the door of the house, he took two boxes from the many he'd brought back and said, "I have a surprise for you."

The surprise was a new computer and it came completely loaded with all sorts of software. One of the programs was...Photoshop CS2!

The new computer and software was a gift from his friend in Switzerland. So of course, because our computers are networked, I will be able to use the new programs. His friend purchased all the software, put it on the computer, and provided us with the installation disks, too.

The day before, I was wondering how on earth this program would come my way. I couldn't imagine how. And the very next day, this!

On our other thread, I made some remarks about how not only does the manifested item appear, it comes with some topspin. Here it was the computer and new flatscreen monitor BUT there were also about a dozen other programs designed for digital photography. In addition, the computer was spec'ed out with graphic design and speed in mind. It has, for example, a graphics accelerator card on it.

Needless to say, I'm deleriously happy over this: walking on air!

2. Wow!
I'm so happy you've gotten those programs. :) I'm now trying for my "perfect man" mostly. I was going to try for a new cell phone but that would be too selfish and I don't really need it now. The weird thing with me is since I've been doing my manifestation I've been feeling more brave to take more chances on things. Like for example in my math class the teacher told how she needs someone who can take notes for someone who needs them (the other person doing it had to drop) and I went and asked if the teacher needed someone to do it. Sadly, another classmate (who I used to have a crush on in high school ha) already volunteered to do it. But the point is I was brave enough to ask where before I was always nervous about something like that. Does anybody think this has to do with the manifestation or what?

4. Hi FreedomAngel--
Edited on Wed Feb-22-06 02:56 AM by bliss_eternal
I think it could have something to do with it.

As you focus in on the ideals that you want to bring to your life, part of the process seems to be that we also become more opten to things that may help to put us "in the right place, at the right time." Does that make sense?

Oh, and just wanted to add, don't limit yourself. If you want a cell phone--go for it! You don't have to just want things that you deem worthy, necessary, etc. Sometimes it's interesting to just add a couple of things like that. When they appear or manifest (you see one on sale, someone buys you one, you get the exact amount you need to buy one, etc.)it shows you that you can truly want and bring about anything at all that you desire.

:hi:

7. Hi
That's what another friend said to me yesterday talking to her about this. How it's a sign for the timing and everything. I've also this year been feeling so much dejavu this past year and I'm not sure why.

I was starting to feel that my manifestation wish was too...selfish. It does involve money, after all.

23. not if you need a cell phone to help people.
Lots of ways to look at things: people need clothes to help others, food, car, security, etc. Money facilitates all that. And the Universe is abundant, right? So I think if your heart is right then you're not greedy to wish for things that help you fulfill your purpose.

Alternatively if you *need* a cellphone and get one but then aren't grateful because it's not one of those video-stereo-camera-email phones with the little Borg attachment for your head, then that might be greedy. Am I right?

I'm SO happy for you, Congratulations on manifesting something from your list!
:applause:

I think that's the delicious thing about this, when you aren't attached to HOW the desire manifests, it can come to you in the most amazing and unexpected ways!

I didn't know you were a webmaster. Would you have any knowledge of other aspects of the web field, or be willing to answer a question about it? You may help me w/something on my list...;)

5. WOW - now THAT'S manifesting!
That's a wonderful story. Thanks so much for sharing it! I think that it will be stories like this that will get some of us to have more faith in the manifestation process, and therefore, put more of the required energies into working on what we're trying to manifest; it's certainly inspired me!

10. Wow
Cher, that's so awesome! Kind of makes me wish I had gotten my photoshop through manifesting!

I think it so interesting about all the things that can be manifested - tangible or intangible.

I have a question. Has anyone ever read the book "Ask and it is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks? It's a really great book and they have quite a few manifestation techniques. There is one called "Segment Intending" that I've been trying to work with. It's basically where you break up your day into segments (waking up and getting ready for work, driving to work, having a conversation with someone, etc.). Anyway, before each "segment" you visualize how you would like it to happen. For instance, today at work I was kind of worried that I was going to get into trouble for a letter that I sent to my boss, however, before I went to work I visualized that I would get to work and that nothing would happen while at the same time I kept telling myself that my boss respects me and the decisions that I make. So when I got to work that's exactly what happened! Not only did I not get in trouble as I had anticipated, but my boss actually agreed with me! So that is something that is really just minor, but I think that maybe it could help with manifesting bigger things.

I'm with you FreedomAngel82 - looking for that perfect (well, almost perfect) guy. I do have a bunch of other things that I'd like to, but I think that I'm gonna try to put all my focus into this one for now. Although, I might try some smaller, tangible things just to see how it goes.

Hi, everyone, I'm just checking in on a break between classes. I'll be happy to answer questions about webmastering and also, FreedomAngel, I manifested my spouse of 20 years! He is the greatest! This absolutely can be done, no question about it.

More later--

And with webmastering do you do layouts for sites? I can't pay but I can do a lot of promoting for you. ;) If not than that's cool. I'm not focusing on any particular person but just the qualities of a person I'd like to be with.

9. Hi Cher--
Again, congratulations on your speedy manifestation results. I'm excited to get busy myself!

My question involves the field of web design. I haven't been able to gauge if there is still a demand/need for web site and/or web page designers or if the field is saturated. Do you know? Once I learned how to do this work, I would be most interested in freelancing the work--so if you know anything about that please let me know.

Thanks Cher!

12. I found love in a magazine
FA, I didn't focus on anything mature, like qualities, LOL. I just focused on looks and the top spin was some wonderful qualities, like wonderful sense of humor, loyalty, fabulous cook, well established in an interesting career, well educated, good looking, sartorial splendor, culturally aware, sophisticated, and what else can I say about this fabulous man?

What actually happened was that (20 years ago) there was this ad campaign for Pinch Scotch in the NY Times Sunday Magazine. I read the Times every Sunday and every Sunday there would be this ad with this handsome man in an admiral's coat on a ship drinking his Pinch. I cut the ad out and, on a whim, attached it to my kitchen cabinet. He was such a handsome man. I was so drawn to this man in the ad.

Sundays went by and I clipped this ad every Sunday and taped the ads around my townhouse. My friends laughed at me because I had my home nicely decorated but now all of a sudden there were all these ads taped to the walls, doors, and cupboards! Sort of looked like a kindergarten classroom!

One day I became fed up with my long-distance relationship and I said to my girlfriend, with whom I was watching television, that I was going next door (to the local pub) to pick up a new man. I did--just put on my coat and walked out the door. I walked across the parking lot and I could see him sitting at a table in the window. It was the man in the ads! (not really--but they looked like identical twins).

I walked in, he got me a chair (the pub was full), and I sat down and I actually heard a voice say, "This is the one." I swear this voice happened. Most people would think this was nuts but I know you guys won't think that. And sure enough, he was. We have been together ever since, and very happy, too. I think we have had all of one fight in about 20 years and that was when he was under some undue stress due to a friend's illness.

So that's it--the story of how I manifested my love of a lifetime. ;)

Webmastering. I think that if you can write and have layout design skills, this is a wonderful career area. Even the writing isn't all that essential but it is a nice adjunct. It is the type of work you can do from home (all of a sudden, your home office is now a "studio!") Is the market saturated? Well, if you just look for jobs under help wanted, yes. That, IMO, is not the way to go about getting this type of work. The way is to find a business that you like, such as I like gardening. My major client is a large nursery/garden center/florist and home design place. From teaming up with them, I have referral business. All you need is one good client to get you started and you can branch out from referrals from there. I guess I should say you need a good imagination and vision to be able to spot those opportunities but I would guess we at this forum would pretty much come by that naturally.

FA, want to pm me about the particulars on the layout?

Cher

13. Didn't really write down my manifestation...
But for the first time in months, I'm feeling normal now. Don't know if this had anything to do with it. What triggerred it was getting in a car accident, and being forced to maintain or just break down. I found a good place inside me and just stayed there and I'm doing much better now, thank you. As long as we're sharing good news, I though I'd share mine...

18. This isn't something I actually wrote down,
but I have to be honest that I've thought of it a great deal lately.

I was thinking a lot about taking up studying language again. I studied spanish in junior high and took four years of it in highschool. I also had french in jr. high and a semester in highschool. I'm not enrolled in school right now and was just wondering how I could take it up again, until I return to school in the summer or fall.

Well today, I was in Costco and what should I see in the children's book area but language learning kits! It's a workbook, really inexpensive but covers a lot of the basics. They had them for German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and French. I bought Spanish and French.

Then my dh blew me away with his German skill--he studied German years ago, and opened the German book and has retained a lot. I had no idea what he was saying--but he had a cool sound! LOL! I know, I'm silly...

So I manifested something I was thinking a great deal about! Hooray! Now on to the areas on my list! :hi:

22. Just an update on my manifestation efforts.
This is what I stated as my manifestation goal: I want to manifest spiritual growth into my life.

So many things have happened so fast; I feel so blessed! I've started a 12-week session with a local group called the Guardianship program which is an intense training session to become more spiritually attuned.

Additionally, I've gotten a great deal of help from our own cassiepriam, without whom I couldn't possibly have gotten to the point that I have.

Finally, this entire group has helped me in so many ways (both known and unknown). Much of the spiritual work that we do is not even conscious, and I think that there's much of that going on within this group.

Thank you everyone!

28. I got this in an E-mail today -- very relevant to manifesting things.
BRING YOUR UMBRELLA

One summer, a drought threatened the crop in a small town. On a hot
and dry Sunday, the village parson told his congregation, "There
isn't anything that will save us except to pray for rain. Go home,
pray, believe, and come back next Sunday ready to thank God for
sending rain."

The people did as they were told and returned to church the following
Sunday. But as soon as the parson saw them, he was furious.

"We can't worship today. You do not yet believe," he said.

"But," they protested, "we prayed, and we do believe."

"Believe?" he responded. "Then where are your umbrellas?"

The story applies to all of us. There are those people who leave
their umbrellas at home. Throughout their lives, they are merely
hoping their wishes and prayers will bear fruit, but they expect
little.

Others expect their dreams and desires to come to pass. It is as if
they journey through life always prepared for something to happen.

Today, how will you approach that which you are yearning for? Will
you expect your prayers and work to bring about hoped-for results?
Will you bring your umbrella?

29. we are manifesting a buyer for our AZ home and a new home in
?New Mexico?

the energy is there, the footwork is starting and the timeframe is 90-120 days

I'll keep you posted.

the house we are manifesting is in a small (10K-40K people) town with water, a good source of opportunity, with 3 bedrooms (or 2 with a good den) on some small acreage with a south facing deck accessible from the den (we'll add the doors if needed) that is structurally sound that we can pay cash for from the proceeds of the AZ house, or something better.

we are still working on the list mentally and will solidify it when we take a morning to visualize it and write it all down.

I'll kick this thread again late June with an update.

30. having been working on it regularly
I do my Silva meditation like I learned so many years ago. When I'm in my altered state of consciousness, I "see" what I want to manifest.

Today I worked on u4ic's case (BTW, I have seen the new place she'll be moving to), TIA, and my own problem with a muscle inflammation from overworking it.

I also worked on visualizing this summer and how I would like it to be.

Good luck with your house, AZDem!

Hi Cher,
I've looked at their blurbs and I like the idea of accessing other brain wave states. I wonder if the "seeing" you mention is any different than just imagining? And if you've experienced a difference between being in a "Silva" state and, say, meditating.
