I am wondering if this supposed to be a difficult time for all of my sign or just me. My sign is Scorpio and though some of my books say the days are supposed to be great, the days are usually the exact opposite. I've been going through some feelings of extreme loneliness, especially since I've felt like everyone I know in real life is taken or married but me. I've also been having difficulty beginning astral projection. I could use some help.

Relationship issues or a lack of intimacy have far more to do with Venus and Mars placements, and transits and progressions to them. Feelings of loneliness sort of fall under Lunar influence though Neptune can often dissolve one's sense of connectedness.
Please consider that if you're seeking a partner perhaps it's not the appropriate time to be astral projecting around the far corners of the universe but rather, grounding yourself into a greater embodiment of your divine potential instead of scattering your energy in far flung disparate places. That is not to say that I think astral projecting always has that effect as some are more prone to enhance their form through retrieval of lost aspects of self through such activity. Others are prone to escapism and dissociation through it though.
Basically I just believe, have experienced and observed that there are times to focus on physicality and other times to focus on the spiritual realms. Ideally one strikes a balance between the two over time. But we all have our natural rhythms.
When I read your query I just had the distinct impression that you might be trying to go in two different directions at one time.
FYI I'm single and live in a town I sometimes refer to as "happy couple land" so I do empathize greatly.
Maybe try to widen your world a bit even if it just means going to a museum, driving a different way to work or shopping at a different market and you may avail yourself to new energies and opportunities. Ya never know.
