Something weird that's been happening to me. |
|
More and more often throughout the last few weeks, I've been wandering around the house in which I've been living for three years, and suddenly feeling as if I have "returned" to it from far away, after having been gone for a lengthy period of time. I think I posted about this once before--what I've been going through is just like the sensation I experienced immediately upon waking from that dream that I thought might have featured astral travel. For the record, I haven't attempted astral for months, since someone here told me it would be unwise for an amateur to be engaging in that during this period of astrological instability. These experiences are highly unsettling; I have no idea what triggers the incidents. But they're also giving me hope that my current plans to leave here soon will come to fruition.

1. sounds like my fellow earth bound Taurus has floated up half out of |
|
your body
we earth signs find that unsettling usually
try stomping your feet when you feel that way and see if helps
there is a time and place for everything, and being half out is not healthy for driving and other mundane tasks

3. Hee. Stomping my feet. That's great. I've taken to washing my face |
|
and/or hands when it happens. That...sometimes clears my mind. And no kidding it's not the greatest thing to have happen right before you're thinking about getting in a car--which is why I've been staying home a lot lately.

4. my DH is an air sign and it doesn't phase him to float |
|
one day he decided to be "grounded" all day and I chose to float
we had to quit the experiment at lunch
he was exhausted and felt like he'd been slogging through sand up to his shins all day and I was so giddy he was afraid to let me drive home
we all have our talents. whenever we do energy work, I let him take the outer space work and I keep us grounded and safe
but do stomp your feet or put a pebble in your shoe (hemitite works well) if you are driving or working with machinery that needs your attention

5. I tend to use petrified driftwood for grounding. Hemitite is sooo heavy. |
|
It's so heavy that it almost doesn't work for me when it comes to cleansing and grounding. But I will remember to "ground" frequently. 'Cause flying away to the future will be fine...in the future. But right now, it's not helping me move toward that future, it's just making me disoriented.

I rub an ice cube on my face or if I am really dazed I lift up my shirt and rub ice or a cold soda can on my ribs or other sensitive warm places like my neck.. That shocks me back in pronto! Also eating helps. Something chewey and sour is best. Suck on a lemon, or eat sometthing Like sour Skittles or shock tarts. The sour wincing reaction gets me back and the job of chewing That gets me back fast. Take care and be careful.
Astral travel isn't dangerous really it is a type of controlled dissociation. But it is just hard to get used to if you are not confident with it yet. If you travel and you are a novice have someone trusted in the room who isn't traveling, they can watch over you,and protect you and monitor your aura while you run around in the astral and they can get you back here if they sense you are having problems.
