I would appreciate the input of any of the Astrologers here
Here's the deal. DH, (June 20 1961, 2:31 am, Taylor, Texas), works for a fortune 5000 telecomminations giant. He has been with said company for 7 years, 6 months. In October, he was "volunteered", along with 3 other employees, to be contracted out in a joint governmental partnership. He was sent for "training", on Halloween to Melbourne, Florida, a week after that last hurricane that hit that state.


To call that course training is like saying that what b%sh is honest. He and his workmates came away as lost as to what was supposed to done, even after this 4 day course as they arrived. When they asked about further training and support, they were told that not only would they get ongoing support but that they would be shadowing other well experienced folks.

Well, as you have probably guessed not only weren't they supported, (suddenly, noone knew anything), they were placed in <<LEAD POSITIONS>>, with no access to support, because and get this, they weren't actual employees of this government contractor, they had no access to websites that anyone else in that position would have because,the websites and info contained there were proprietory to the contractor!! DH was required to be on call, calls for coming in from regional offices ALL NIGHT but....HE WASN'T ALLOWED TO GO OUT TO THE SITES BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE THE CLEARANCE NECESSARY!! He and one other employee who was placed in a Bay area site were constantly berated and accuised of everything from being stupid to out n out sabotage but when they were actively prevented from accessing not only these sites but even the online training sessions.


DH and the other employee were berated on a daily basis, via daily conference calls, IN FRONT of other participants. He complained and found out that this was not the first time this had happened with these so-called partnership but in fact, had happened over and over again. He couldn't even enter the buildings that he was told he needed to report to each morning BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE THE CLEARANCES!! As a matter of fact, he couldn't stay alone in in office, even if he was working on something. If the person who was tagged left the office for a smoke, he had to leave the building too. CRAZY!!! Placing people in lead positions who'd never worked in this type of placement and having it turn out disatrously. There was an employee of the government contractor who DH calls "ISpy". He shadowed DH and actually tried to get in his face. "ISpy" is about 5'8", 250lbs and DH is 6'6" 280. He is NOT guy you want to make angry.

It's gotten progressively worse and worse and about 9 weeks ago, the regional manager, fly out and got in DH face. Frankly, I believe that this regional mamager is suicidal. DH got a bit heated and this idiot backed down. The idiot asked DH if he wanted to be associated with this project. DH said, "HELL NO!". I was told by my People, (most people call them "guides"), to compose an email to his actual manager. I asked DH if it were okay and he was enthusiastic about it. I did and it shook up the people who read it to the point that they quickly arranged a meeting of middle management. DH was supposed to be present via a conference call along with the other employee. DH was never called but was notified, following this meeting,(it will be exactly 7 weeks ago tomorrow afternoon @ 2:30 pm, that he, along with the other person, was going to be relieved and replaced.

About 3 weeks ago, DH was notified that 4 candidates were found and sent to the regional manager for this contractor. DH then heard nothing further. Then, last week, he went to the personnel website to find that there was another name due to be placed at the bay area site, to replace the other employee.
DH got excited and called his manager to ask if this meant that he would soon be replaced. He wasn't really answered either way. DH permanent manager drove out to Sacramento friday and made some lame assed comments about the governmental manager liking him and wanting him to stay. DH was confounded by these comments and started worrying. Today, however, after another one of my famous emails that DH asked me to compose, he recieved an email which in essence said that although the other person is being relieved, he wasn't, even though, his manager told him, he's trying to find a way to "bust him out of this position". This is after he was promised he was being relieved and that he was one of, if not the most valuable employee in that company.

DH is fed up because he's always been their stellar worker and employee and for some reason, his company seem to fell that since they give him higher raises and a bigger profit sharing, he should just take this with no comment. BIG MISTAKE!! The thing is that this situation with the this contractor partnership and his recently deceased mother'diagnosis of stage4 clear cell renal carcinoma, (october 13.30-march 05.06) happened within a week. He adored his mom and she him and he's always taken pride in his job. On top of it all, we're in the middle of getting a construction loan for the home we're building. This is the question:

DH is ready to see if he can find another position that pays as much, if not more than this position,
( the original position w/ his private fortune 5000 company). Should he do that? Should he bide his time and wait to be relieved ? He started at this fortune 5000 company in March 15 1998 and made permanent October 1, 1998 @ 10:00am. Is the light at the end of the tunnel a angel from Heaven coming to our rescue or is it a train?

I did take a brief look at his chart but before I did that I had a very strong flash that DH can probably do far better with another company.

He's got Jupiter and Saturn conjunct the midheaven natally so will pretty much rise to top in many situations. That also shows administrative chops. He's also had both his progressed Mercury and Venus change signs recently which is indicative of changes in thought processed, attitude, and the source of his personal happiness.

I'll be able to make some time for a more in depth look later on in the day to determine the best time for him to make a leap but Jupiter is retrograde until July 6th so generically job opportunities would be more abundant and available after rather than before then.

As to the flash I had I literally heard, "He's got to get out of there!!!"

3. For the record, I had a similar "flash."
Mine was more like, "He should run away before it gets any worse."

Also for the record, though I will leave the advice as regards his career options to pros like stella--I just wanted to add that you and your husband have a lovely composite chart, from what I could see.

4. As an astrologer...
I don't need to look at the chart to say he should get out. The universe is giving him the message that his old job/way of living is not going to be supported. Is he really happy in that field? Maybe the universe is saying that he has to move to a new location.

The people who put him in this situation have had their chances, and failed. Their first chance was when they sent him for the faulty training. The second chance was when the job could not be done due to their lack of support. The third chance was when they would not get him out of there. The universe is making it progressively more painful for him to stay in that situation, so I say move as soon as possible to change it. Whatever steps he takes to change things will be supported, based on moving toward his ideal situation. Where does he want to live? What is the most important thing for him to be doing (and this may not be job/career)?

I had a job once, and somebody was slashing my tires. I applied for another job, even though I didn't think I qualified, just because my life was unbearable at that first job. I got the other job, and progressed well and happily. The universe told me to jump, and eventually I learned to say "how high?".

BTW, when I say "the universe", I really mean that he is working with the universe, conciously or unconciously.

6. I think that that's what he's going to do
He's really wanted to be on the northern coast, Mendocino and Humboldt counties and has actually been talking about what would happen if he found himself presented with such an opportunity.
