Ghost Cat Pics
Some interesting photos here:

http://www.karenskreations.co.uk/spiritpics2.html

On one of the pages, you can actually see the little cat on the arm of the chair. On another page, she has a pic of a bubble. In the bubble, you can see a dog's face. She says this is the photo of a dog who has gone to the other side.

On the above one, you'll have to click around to see all the pages. There isn't a 1, 2, 3 type of arrangement.

Then there's this one. It's prob'ly a composite but I have to say, it's fascinating. I love this pic.

On the following, the owner's cat was known to be inside but...here's the cat, outside!

1. Thanks for posting.
Yes, that photo of the cat is adorable.

Now on the other photos, I just got done reading a book about ghost photography. The author devotes a whole chapter to the topic of 'orbs'. He seems to feel that they are in fact disembodied spirits. He shows several photos of them. I can't deny...it is weird. What else could the orbs be?

2. Some psychics say they are angels, or spirits that
were never flesh like us.

14. The book is called
Edited on Fri Jun-02-06 11:48 PM by cliss
"How to hunt Ghosts" by Joshua Warren. I found it at my local library, but I noticed he has his own web page.

It was a very good little book, and I have to admit I was stunned about the chapter about the orbs. The author shows lots of photos in the book, and I guess I never thought of them as anything other than just - blobs.

He seems to feel that they are disembodied spirits.

oops - forgot link

4. A lot of our pics are chock full of orbs.
they are literally all over the pics we take. some inside some out. My sister always tells me it is our dead brother. He did die here in my town many years ago. I'll re do a photobucket account and post a few.

this one is my favorite. no fire outside that night, but wow so smoky!

5. Do you see clock faces in 1 & 2?
I see them clear as a bell! The smoky one has the bottom half of a face at the kids' knee level - that one I just don't like, it's not friendly-feeling.

The clocks look to have a hand @ 11 & 8 - but I can't make out which is hour or minute hands?

Or maybe I should go to bed & look again tomorrow?

By all means, keep posting the images! I'm fascinated, too.

16. This is exactly like the photos in
Warren's book on Ghost photos. He points out that these 'orbs' have a spot in the center, almost like a cell. These photos are amazing. Especially the last one: you can almost see the beginnings of something in the white mist.

7. It is said that the spirit world is only a few feet above us.
Not way up in some far away heaven. We just cannot see spirits because they occupy a different dimension.

Some of the circles on the pics here look similar to ones that seem
to appear in crop circle photos.

15. Now check out this photo of Bush.
Edited on Sat Jun-03-06 12:01 AM by cliss
This photo was taken of Bush about 3 months ago. He was making some kind of speech in Ohio. You can tell it's rather cold.

This was posted here in the DU. It was one of those "caption this" photos. People posted things like, "OK no more powdered donuts in the Limo" and "sloppy Bush". Not me: I almost fell out of my chair when I looked at it.

Take a close look at those wisps. See the wolf-like creature on the left. We saw a man's face on the right.

Also, notice how this very powerful energy is emanating from Bush's heart. Almost unbelievable. This photo is genuine, because we searched through the AP photo files the next day, and the photo was there, exactly like this one.

20. It would be from our left.
When we looked at this photo, we enlared it in Photo Shop about 200%. We saw clearly a dog or a wolf's face on the left side (that would be our left). On the right side, there was a man's face which was starting to emerge.

We actually saw several; I'm sorry this photo might be too small. I'd enlarge it if I could; just figured out how to post photos on the DU; that was my first one.

that he had just let out a puff of air, and it was floating downward. It was cold outside.

23. I like logical explanations too but
Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 06:28 PM by in search of sanity
shouldn't there be another puff closer to his mouth, if the lower one was from a prior breath? If there was enough time for the breath to float down, it seems that he should be taking another breath.

17. A friend of ours was fooling around
in a cemetary a few years ago. He wanted to be a ghost hunter and so took several pictures. He gave us this one, which by the way I don't care for at all. It's interesting though.

26. I love this photo.
It looks very similar to other photos I've seen. Photos like this have an interesting similarity: it looks like white lines are starting to materialize. They can be like streaks, but sometimes there is a part of the line that's more white, or something starts to materialize.

You inspired me! I'm going to head down to the local cemetery tonite, and see if the camera picks up anything. Will post anything worth looking at.

BTW was this from a digital camera? I have both digital and still camera.

the man who took this has a digital. It will be interesting to see if you capture any images.

21. You guys really don't know what causes 'orbs' in photos?
Can the dust theory be proved?
YES! Just take your digital camera (for fast results) outside and throw some dust out in front of the lens and presto, multiple orbs will appear in the picture! Note; the dust has to be within 4 inches of the lens to appear as orbs in the photo. You can also take a spray bottle to simulate humidity and spray directly out in from of the lens. Result will once again be multiple orbs. Our conclusions are that dust particles reflect light from the flash and appear as perfectly round balls of light in the photo. Try it! See dust orbs in pictures.

28. no idea. i was just addressing 'orbs' - not dismissing any and all phenom
could be a lot of things. personally i'd look at the 'natural' before the supernatural, and i'm someone who works with spirits all the time.
