pendulum

so I hacked together a pendulum out of a piece of dental floss and a fingernail cutter. I didn't perform any kind of cleansing ceremony on it. It sepparated into two different categories my girlfriend, my band, and paprika (counter-clockwise motion); and George Bush (clockwise motion)

What I found particularly striking was how the pendulum accelerated its motion with seemingly no influence from me.

I'm curious about what people think might explain the acceleration:

1) direct supernatural influence,
2) supernatural or subconscious influence caused minute motions of my hand/arm/body,
3) the dental floss was twisted the right way, or some other "coincidental" explanation

1. LOL You really didn't have any slightly more sophisticated

or slightly more delicate raw materials lying around ? Kidding.

Sorry don't mean to be a snob and you should be commended for your inventiveness really. Anything works really with the right intent though. IMHO I'm trying to remember if I've ever used a pendulum attached to something that wasn't metal. Not sure but I may have used a string of some sort before.

I always feel as though I'm connecting with the super conscious mind and I can feel it going through the metal chain. I often just use a necklace with a pendant on it.

I get a circle for a yes and a straight line for a no but these indicators can vary wildly between individuals.

In terms of the options you offered up, I'd say a combo of 1 & 2 sorta.

Is there any such thing as a coincidence. . .?

Trying to think of the Dylan lyric about that now but am blocking it for some weird reason. It'll come to me.

Goes something like "What you've attributed to coincidence. . " Maybe I'll google it in a bit.

for the advice - I had the crystal in sea salt water until the time you suggested.

So far so good, no dark smoke -

now I see a white cone shaped light beaming straight up.

2. I think it is supernatural

Though maybe for you counterclockwise is positive and clockwise is negative, get pictures of things you strongly like and dislike and test it. You will see that it will sometimes be fast and sometimes slow maybe within the space of a minute.

5. it helps, believe me

I know some may find it silly but when my mother was ill, we were constantly asked questions
yes/no, what did we think, what did we know, none of us were Doctors and none of us understood
what was happening to her, she would beg us to let her die and then tell the doctors that she
wanted to live, sometimes you just don't know what the right answer is.
