Please, someone tell me that first dream of the year means |
|
something...I had a very realistic dream that I somehow missed the news that a thisrd candidate in this election (a Bloomberg type businesman) had contested the election in court and won. he would now be inaugurated. It wasn't Kerry, but it wasn't Bush either - and everyone was rejoycing, even the media had snarky articles about loser Bush. And I kept saying: "Wow! So then our system works too....we are still a democracy! Wow!

1. I don't know if a New Year's dream means more than any other. |

I like your dream, though. It seems to be showing a "3rd" way, instead of the "either/or" polarity battle going on currently.
Me? I dreamed about animals loose in my bedroom. Some were my animals, some were strange animals, and some stranger still; they kept "shifting." A beautiful bird with a killer grip on my finger that changed into a fat, bushy squirrel; a skinny calico cat with no tail, hobbling along on 3 legs. And a bizarre rodent thing that I first thought was a mouse or rat, and, on closer look, looked like some sort of miniature badger, round on the bottom end, with a pointy nose. And all of these people; some from work, some just friends, kept showing up like they had scheduled some time with me while I was trying to get all these animals out of my bedroom. I don't know what that is supposed to mean. :eyes: And no, I didn't indulge in a single drop to ring in the new year! ;-)

As for my third way - I wasn't exactly happy with who it was - but the fact that the fraud was exposed and W laughed off by his former worshippers - the media felt terrific. And I do expect some of this stuff to come true in some shape or form - maybe big business will throw W away or something - and the election fraud will be part of what comes out.

But I dreamed of Keith Olbermann. And not that kinda dream, either -- he was exposing some sorta trash, I don't remember the details but I think I was helping him.
It did occur to me, tho, (immediately upon waking!) that I needed to post this to DU under the heading, "I figure it was inevitable..."

and the way dreams are coded, it could be right even if the facts don't match up precisely. iow, that the energy funnel created by voter fraud and its investigation will have an effect similar to the one you dreamed. In any case, it's certainly a hopeful scenario. I wish I'd had a dream on the new year, but a friend kept calling me every 15 minutes abt an emergency with my cats. I was glad to get it resolved successfully, but drat, no dream! I did have a dream recently though about Poppy hw Bush helping to tone down his son, and that would make things.. somehow less problematic.
