Let's create some group affirmations!
Edited on Sun Jul-23-06 02:42 PM by lildreamer316
In the spirit of The Secret; and other affirmations/positive thought systems; why don't we, as members of a political board, agree on a very few simple positive thoughts that we could individually meditate/pray/use in spellwork etc.? Seeing as there are so many of us who do so on a regular basis. We could word them so they are easy to just keep in the back of your mind as you go about your day. Let's create a positive "meme" as in The Four Agreements. The need to be very very simple and clear. Anyone? Ideas? Just thought I'd throw it out there. The more energy behind it.....and of course, in my experience, you have to be pretty clear, because SPECIFICALLY what you ask for is SPECIFICALLY what you get!

ON EDIT: I think that OhioBlues and I are generally headed in the same direction with our ideas(I'm an idiot! Just kidding). Maybe to join the two; or ???? I just thought that maybe worded thoughts in addition to/instead of light might be a more powerful way of creating; or possibly a way to avoid the "energy vampire" problem.
Let's brainstorm.

1. Could you first explain to me what
an "energy vampire" problem is?

When I took my first healing classes the teacher explained to us that many people are unwittingly energy or psychic vampires.

The average "vampire" doesn't even know they do it. Also when people are dying and they are afraid they sometimes do it without realizing it.

The regular person who is an energy vampire will make you feel tired and disturbed after having to listen to them and it can be only for a short time.

The more negative energy vampires are very aware of what they do. They deliberately overpower and cause others to feel fatigued and "bad".

2. Foremost in my mind is to see a unified and righteous UN that
can unite the Middle East to bring a much needed peace, a return to the glorious ideals it was founded to accomplish.

4. In the spirit of The Secret
Weeks ago I watched The Secret, then I found Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer by Gregg Braden. I was moved to set up this website:

8000forpeace.com/

It's pretty positive. I have also been directed to add a Peace Kids section. There will also be a section called Incoming, where I will be sharing further information.

This is part of my personal story of an incident that took place while I was working on the website:

A funny thing happened on the way to building this wesite. It was 11:30 am and I was still in my PJs. I had been up since 6am working on getting this thing going.

A car pulled up and I could see it was the Jehovah’s Witnesses. While I am loathe to turn anyone away, the drunken monkey in my brain screamed at me to not answer the door.

For anyone who does not know, the drunken monkey is that voice in your head that is always trying to plant discouraging words and telling you all the reasons you will fail the task at hand.

I decided to follow my own house rule of always being as kind as you can. I would open the door and listen to what he had to say.

He was there to invite me to a convention that’s going to be in my area. He shared some of the subjects to be covered during the conference. Then he let me know that I didn’t have to worry. If I just show up at the conference I won’t be standing there alone. There will be over 8, ooo people there.

I nearly fell over. When he mentioned the number 8,000, bells went off in my brain. I had been working with that number all morning! And here it was showing up on my doorstep.

What a show of confirmation from the Universe!

It’s not my intention to be standing here alone, so now it’s up to you to show up.
