Sorry, I meant to put these with the other two but ran out of time earlier.
My next prediction involves currency and banks. I see that a new, euro-type currency is in the works right now and will meld the fortunes (literally) of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan, and China, to name a few. The purpose will be to compete with the Euro. As a result, the U.S. will regain its former strength in currency. This will be good for trade relations between us and Europe, and we could see our currency become more powerful for at least the first few years until it gradually levels off. At some point in the future, probably in 25 years, we will join a wider consortium and most of the world's currencies will be one.
One more, involving peace and the middle east:
I have a strong feeling that peace is really coming for Lebanon and Israel. I don't know why I feel this way, when all indicators are negative. But I feel it. We will be encouraged to leave Iraq, also, and it will happen soon. War is ceasing to be a viable option in this age of media wars and public opinion.
Also, this whole terrorism in the air thing that just happened with the "crackdown" is a crock. This has already been revealed and public opinion will rally against such tactics. No one has mentioned this, but the arrest of those Egyptian students who didn't show up for school was a message sent to Egypt. Many other students do the same thing every year, so why is this group being highlighted? I imagine if you went to check student visas you would find many such students. School hasn't really started yet in most places, either. So lookout for more of the same, to scare Americans. We are being scared to. For no reason.
