Pre-Pluto - Post Pluto

I am really curious as to how post-Pluto will affect our charts. I googled and found this interesting. Any other ideas?

<The last planet is PLUTO. It represents the intensity of power and the magic of subtle influences. Pluto is represented by the triadic configuration of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Since Pluto was discovered in 1930, when delineating a chart on people born before that year brings up an interesting question. Does the planet Pluto have any influence in their lives? When pre-Pluto birth charts are reviewed, the intensity that is known as Pluto shows up in a variety of ways but always as the influence of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Gandhi had Mars in opposition to Jupiter with Jupiter inconjunct Saturn. The more contemporary Nixon had Mars conjunct Jupiter, inconjunct Saturn rising (sunset chart). Each of these triadic configurations reveals some form of Plutonian intensity not necessarily found by the position of Pluto in the chart.>

PLUTO "DEMOTED" BY IAU

The International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of its status as a planet today and has reclassified it as a "dwarf planet." The decision, made by less than 5% of the world's astronomers, is unlikely to affect the astrology community and, in fact, is not accepted by all astronomers either. Perhaps it's the "Lord of the Underworld's" proximity to the Galactic Center that led to this astronomical transformation. Pluto has been a valuable addition to astrology charts since its discovery in 1930 and will continue to be an essential factor in personality analysis and forecasting. Astrologers have called the Sun and Moon "planets" for millennia without problem and will continue to do the same with Pluto.

It's interesting to me that Pluto (Latin for Greek Hades, for English Hell) represents all that is shadow, that which is excluded. Reality and symbolic archetype is so entwined. We have banished Pluto to where he naturally belongs: the netherworlds of unplanets. We had our chance to integrate him, but we chickened out. And of course, by suppressing his natural planetary expression, we have inadvertently given him additional power. That which we resist will persist even stronger. - Rick

3. My thought on this is, perhaps our shadow-side is not as

powerful as it has been in the past, that maybe collectively we have cleaned up a ton of old stuff.

I agree that not banishing the dark and hidden is just good common sense. (can downsizing it mean that a huge lesson was learned, hopefully *crosses fingers*)

I am thinking that we are being given a message that it's not as powerful and ominous as we have possibly felt it was in the past. It's just a thought though, as I am not an expert at anything.

I love thinking about and listening to others' thoughts and ideas about these things too!

I have a rebellious streak in me that doesn't want to assign anything positive to people and groups who I feel are not at all consciously trying to add positive energy to the world..... :evilgrin: :D

I also tend to feel that things will get a lot worse before they start to be noticeably better, and we all have to try to be strong and balanced to weather out the storm....to retain and expand our positive energies while recognizing the manifested darkness all around.

(But I tend to be an optimistic person who has much experience with the dark! And humbly and fully recognize that we all are chock full of ambiguities and paradoxes! :D:D:D)
