Help Me Figure Out this Photo

I just took this pic because I wanted to capture some of the Ernesto storm moments. Pics were taken at noon, 9/2. This is off my deck in the back of the house:



Much to my surprise, I saw those "ghostly circles" coming in off the left.

Of course, this could be some type of camera malfunction or maybe dust spots. But disregarding that for a moment, what do you make of it?

Do you think that it looks like "X's" on the circles in the front?

It looks pretty wet. Your flash could be reflecting off of some mist. I do see two x's.

Did you check your lens to see if they were clean.

5. It's a kitty cat!

Look at the darker orb by the fence. It's the face of a cat. It bothered me at first because it didn't look quite human, but it's a kitty!

I see her! I do see her. She is right above the second set of orbs by the fence. I see exactly what you are talking about.

OMG.

I couldn't tell this group about it because I wasn't ready to talk about it yet but my dear little kitty Bitsey passed away a couple weeks ago. It happened while I was on vacation. I make reference to it on The Daily Psychic thread where I talk about something that happened on my trip but that I couldn't write about. I couldn't write about it because I was so upset about her loss and of course, I still am.

It took me a full week to even announce her death to my friends.

I knew she would be in contact with me, though, and I have been waiting to hear from her. Oh Cleita, I am so glad you could see this and point it out to me.

What happened is that while I was away on vacation, she died. She just curled up in the garden and died of a heart attack. She was only four years old.

I think I felt her death because earlier that day, before I was informed of it, I had been lying on my bed reading. All of a sudden, I felt something seize my left side. I was in terrible pain and I thought I was having a heart attack. But at the same time, something told me I was OK so I didn't call out for help. After awhile, the pain went away. Later in the day, I learned she had been found in the garden.

I am, to say the very least, a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I am going to circle where she is with Photoshop and post the photo. Some people might not be able to see her and this will help.

I can understand how hard it is for you to talk about it. I hear the spirits are stronger around water and the mist would be ideal for her to come to you. :hug:

7. I took more photos

Thanks for the input, everyone. Dreamy, that is fascinating. They do indeed resemble these orbs on my back deck. I didn't even know Shirley MacLaine had a site! I am looking forward to exploring it. Thank you so much for posting it.

No sunlight here today. It's actually pretty dark. In fact, most of the photos I took had to be lightened to even see what they are. It's like twilight here, with the big gray clouds overhead. No mist, either. Here, for example, is one of the photos I took along with the one above. As you can see, there are no orbs in this one.



I went out and took more photos and this just just gets curiouser and curiouser. I took the following one by standing inside the house with the screen door propped open, just like with the previous ones. There are more orbs but different from the previous photo. It also appears like some of it is attaching itself to the house or maybe that it's coming from the house:



OK. So then I was thinking to take the photos from completely outside. Maybe there wouldn't even be any orbs from another angle or perhaps they would look different. And they did! (Look different.)

The above photos face west. I took one facing the other direction:



So they mostly seem to be coming in from the east. And they are centering around the main portion of the house, which was originally a carriage house.

Regarding the first photo and the "X's", it occurred to me that it is almost like a bouncing basketball. Sometimes the marks on a basketball almost look like an "X," especially when it's rolling.

But I'd much rather think of them as "friendlys" than ethereal basketballs!

12. WOW!! It definitely looks like you have friendly activity

There has been a lot of conversation over there about them for quite a while. I haven't caught all of the conversation but I know that it started when one member started posting and wondering about her odd orb pictures. Then others started noticing them in there pictures also while others are still trying to get them.

They seem to appear in rural areas. Last I heard they were still waiting for someone in a city or urban area to get them. Do you live in a suburban or city area? This is very interesting! There was also some talk at one point about some getting shapes in their orb pics too. I haven't been able to keep up with it, though, because I just got my internet access back after 3 months without it.

Have you posted there yet? I think you should. You could add to the pot of mystery.

15. Yeah, I saw that one too but it wasn't as clear.

Put a pot of the catmint out for Bitsey. When you are in that area you may feel her presence. I think she visited you because you were out in the garden doing something (this time taking pictures) and she came by to see what you were doing. Since it was moist with water in the atmosphere she was able to manifest herself to you.

16. I see bitsey in them too

First one yeah,she's there by the fence but look again, scroll to the second set of pics in the I took more photos post. The second image in the series and the fifth are interesting....Bitsey is in there .In the second, in the bluish orb area..look at the shape of the blue..Cat sitting there! In the fifth one..There is a pale orb just to the side of the fern.. now ignore the orb but stay in that area with your eyes,and look along the fence base ,see the darker area? Cat lying down in the Sphinx position! Bitsey was following you around being a camera ham looks like to me.. :)

17. Outlines to what I saw..

I put the two pics Cher took in photoshop and traced what I saw there .. they have had nothing done but a white outline drawn freehand with my trackball to show where I saw the cat shape at.

21. Looking at the photos further

This is getting even more interesting. I realized something and that is why I came to the computer this a.m. But then when I was looking more at the closeup of Bitsey from the first picture, I realized something else.

First, the "what I realized last night." In regard to Cleita's comment in post 9, where she says, "I hear the spirits are stronger around water and the mist would be ideal for her to come to you." Sometime in the past week, I ran across an article or a comment by someone who investigates these matters and that person said that whether an entity can come through or not may just simply boil down to whether the conditions are right. I thought about that all week--it would not leave my mind. It was just rattling around in there like a song that I couldn't get out of my head.

So then this morning I was again looking at the pictures and in particular, the first picture. I looked at the closeup and I realized the cat we are seeing is not Bitsey! Bitsey is in the picture, however--her head is above the other cat. And what's even more intriguing is that she has morphed the lower half of my face onto hers. OK, so what I am saying is that in this pic is a cat who is not Bitsey. On top of this cat's head is Bitsey's face but with the lower portion of her face morphed into mine.

I think she did this as a message to me. Years ago (well, in 04, to be exact), I did a series of computer graphic art pieces that I turned into email stationery. The art was of the upper half of my face with Bitsey morphed onto the top of my head. Here it is:



Now, going to the pic of Bitsey's head on top of the other cat, look down below her eyes and you will see the bottom part of a human nose and a mouth. That's my nose and mouth.



The message is apparent. It returns and reverses the sentiment that I expressed in my computer graphic, which is that we are of one mind. But in Bitsey's reversal, it could be saying "You speak for me."

What is still a mystery is who the cat is (could be a spirit friend who helped her manifest). And also what the "X's" are.

Is there something about an untimely death that means the spirit needs a guide? If the guides show as the x'es, would that explain the x'es?

Is it possible she wants you to tell her where she needs to go to wait for you - that's what my cat Lightning did, if you remember. At least you know, she's still close by. I love that picture of her in the wash bowl - too cute!

27. phenomena continues

Hi everybody,

I just thought I would update you that the phenomena continues. I have many other photos in which I've caught Bitsey's image. Now it appears as though she is able to materialize without the help of the other cat, although some of the latest pictures include other cats.

One photo is at night in the same vicinity as the deck. She is alone in that one, or at least I think she is.

This afternoon I was hanging new drapes in the bedroom. I took pictures so I could show a couple people and when I examined the photos, there were orbs in them and bright lights, too. Mist, also. Upon closer examination, I found Bitsey in the photos, too! My little nut.

I listened to a radio program from Coast to Coast on this phenomena and I learned quite a number of interesting things from it. Sometime when I'm not so tired, I'll write up a post on it.

30. Update

This really intrigued me. I was analyzing the drapery photos more and I found that she came in upside down on one! Yeah, her little face was coming in upside down. Then she straightened it out. So when they "manifest," it is kind of like a scanner, it seems.

I just laughed and laughed. I said, "What are you doing, coming in upside down!?" It seems so...human.

In another picture, I located the lower half of a woman's face. She is holding a little white dog.

I wish I had time to post the photos but I'm up to my ears in syllabi. I am almost done, though, so I will post some pics when I've got the work situation under control.

In yet another instance, called her for dinner and then took a photo. She showed up in two photos at the window, waiting for me to let her in. My other kitty, Greenlee, would not eat for awhile. That is the way it always used to be: Bitsey ate first, then Greenlee.

31. we've been having trouble with the electricity

It goes on. It goes off. It goes on. It goes off. It flickers rapidly in succession. It stays off awhile. It comes back on awhile.

We had our electrician over immediately and he said the "symptoms" were strange and he didn't know what to make of them. He did change a couple fuses but the electric system here was upgraded 8 years ago to way over what we ever thought we'd need. He and his colleague spent several hours checking the entire system.

Then we called the utility company, who came over and spend close to a morning trying to figure it out. They, too, think it's strange and don't know what to make of it.

32. I think you should take more pictures

We had a problem with lights once. We'd go to bed and they'd be off. We'd get up and they'd all be on. Also do you have a digital voice recorder? It sounds as if someone is trying to tell you something.

I have read that they have an easier time manifesting when it's through electronic media. You are also the second person this week who has mentioned these types of odd occurrences.

I do have a digital recorder. I bought it a couple years ago and never even took it out of the package. Maybe I will find it and experiment with it!! I am intrigued by what you said about them coming through easier on electronic media. I think this could be the case. I would love to research this.

There is an interesting photo over at Coast to Coast's page. I think it's called "Accident." I took the photo into Photoshop and lightened it and looked at it some more. I found more images than the original poster told me about. I wrote to her and she responded that she's heard from others about the extra face and images I saw.

I might suggest this idea that they come through easier on electronic media to Ed Noory as a possible topic for a show.

I have been taking more pics, though. I have a lot of photos where she's appeared and then there was one more experience where she appeared as a movie in a reflection. After that I've had nothing but then I haven't examined the very latest photos carefully, either. From my first look over them, though, nothing.

It's been terribly disappointing to me that she hasn't shown up in the last few days, needless to say.

34. caller to George Noory

I was listening to his call-in radio show where they were interviewing this guy who has written books about apparitions and the like.

Anyway, this woman called in and she said she and her husband were moving from NY to VA. This was about six weeks ago. The house had been cleared out and the two were going to drive to VA the next day with their suitcases to move into the new house (retirement situation, I think).

Unfortunately, the husband died that night.

The funeral was held and a couple days after, the woman again visited her husband's grave. She said out loud, "Please, just let me know you're OK."

So the next day, she's on the phone talking with a girlfriend and she gets a signal for an incoming call, which she let go to voicemail.

When she picked up the VM, she said it was the worst connection ever. But it was her husband's voice and so she was very intent on understanding what it said. It said, "Barbara, it's me. I just want you to know I'm OK." In other words, a direct response to her request.

After that, she listened to it quite a number of times but it kept fading out on her and finally it faded so much that it was inaudible and completely gone. Regardless, her daughter, neighbor, and others heard it and confirmed it was the husband's voice, speech cadence, etc.

After that the woman's cell phone could not hold incoming messages. She took it in and had it looked at by a couple different places. Both places said, "This is very strange. We don't know what to make of it. Never seen anything like it."

Well, now our electricity on the deck side of the house (where Bitsey appeared so often) is kaput. It goes on/off/on/off. There is no rhyme or reason to it, either, like thinking it is the circuitry and maybe one circuit is bad. Last night, for example, the DVD player continued to work while the TV went nuts, turning itself on and off three times in succession. The DVD player and the TV are plugged into the same outlet.

We've had both our electrician and the electric company in. They said: "This is very strange. We don't know what to make of it. Never seen anything like it."

Anyway, I posted earlier about the electricity but I thought the phone call was quite fascinating and wanted to pass it on. It's a version of the same thing I'm undergoing with Bitsey, I believe.
