SG, that's fantastic. So happy for you! And yours is a great example to everyone working on manifestation as well--to stay open, because fixating on just one outcome might not be the best thing to do when a completely different opportunity would be better. I'm definitely going to keep that in mind!
 My things only get better from here!

2. Thank you, MorningGlow |

When I first starting working with manifestation, I often tripped myself up by focusing too narrowly, and seeing just one outcome. I've learned that that actually has a negative effect quite often, so staying open is definitely the way to go.
And thank you for your very kind thoughts.

7. ... I'm confused .... a little ... |
|
.... I thought the whole idea behind both Cosmic Ordering and Manifestation was to request a specific outcome from Spirit/the Universe, and to focus one's white light/energy on attracting that outcome (pending the Universe's approval, of course) ... now we're leaning more towards an 'oh, just ask for something and be grateful for what you get' philosophy?
That doesn't work for me.

8. Let me see if I can be a little more clear |
|
I do believe that we can focus on specific a outcome/thing/whatever, but I also believe that we have to be open to something different happening, that might be for our greater good. Where I have gotten smacked down before was when I focused on manifesting a particular thing or situation, and did not leave myself open for something else to happen, and so I would either miss the better thing, or not see it for the good thing it really was.
I didn't mean to imply "oh, anything will do." Sorry for the confusion, but thanks for asking that I be clearer on what I was trying to say.

9. I like what you said about "leave myself open for something else to... |
|
happen." I was told by a channelled being with whom I work that we can be extremely specific about what we want, but we should always, always, always say "this or something better" because it leaves so much more room for the Universe to work, and the Universe really does know much more about what's best for us than we do.

Visualizing what we want without tht openness to that "something better" can potentially close us off to something great we had not even thought of.

11. Sometimes there is a better plan waiting for us if we let |
|
go of the circumstances of the moment. Sometimes our wishes are ignored because there are better outcomes in store for us. I know when I was young I went through a terrible heartbreak and no begging the Universe to change things made it happen, but if I had gotten that person to marry me, I would not have met the wonderful person who did become my husband.
Also, the woman who did marry my heartbreak has had a lifetime of her own heartbreak from this man. Fortunately, he gave her lovely children to make up for it. Since I was never able to have children, I would have been a very sad person indeed if I had married that man.

3. As you say, door close and windows open |

How exciting, you have a new path! Like you say, what WE think is negative, can turn out to be the best thing. (and I find sometimes I don't "see" it until much later) I think it's learning to trust-that's what I'm going through, learning to just trust. This or something better.... :hi:

It is about trust, isn't it? Trust that things WILL work out, if you open yourself to the possibilities.

10. I love the trust that I'm "getting" from what you wrote. You know that... |
|
you'll be taken care of, even if you don't know the details just yet.
I ask that the Universe continue to allow you to feel its loving arms during this time. (This or something better for the highest good of all involved.)

13. Sometimes accepting the change that comes into your life |

is the reward although not the one you expected. This is a good attitude you are bringing to the future and maybe this is a new adventure for you that is unfolding.
