I would like some suggestions re: cleansing a room |
|
As a lot of you know, I was terminated from my job this past week, but as you also know, I'm cool with it, and my very VERY strong feeling is that I will have a new job within a week.
I work from home, and was thinking that I'd like to do a cleansing, mostly just to help clear the way for the new job. I'm currently in the process of getting everything from the job I'm leaving together, and then of course, I will physically clean it. But I was thinking of doing something in addition to that, such as painting it a new color. I was also thinking of doing some type of psychic clearing, and thought I'd ask you folks if you had any suggestions.

1. I would give it a thorough smudging with sage, then burn some sweetgrass. |
|
Then put some sea salt around the doors, windowsills, etc. That should get things NICE and clean in your space.

Smudging was definitely one thing I was thinking of doing. Appreciate the other suggestions.

3. A small fountain might keep the space fresh, too. |

I like the idea of changing the color, for a fresh start. Yellow is very spiritual, and green is supposed to be calming and healing. Red brings energy. So I guess it depends on what feeling you want to enhance.
I have a small chime with a wooden mallet that is supposed to help clear old thought forms..it does seem to freshen the space.
This sounds like a great project to begin your new chapter--go with what feels right!
Good luck! :hi:

4. I like the idea of the fountain. |

There is something so calming about the sound of water flowing in a fountain, isn't there?
