here's a dream for ya
you don't need much intuition to figure the main point out though. this is a recent dream a friend of mine had:

she was at wal-mart with her mother, looking for toothpaste, but she couldn't find any in the store. she approached a woman in a blue vest & asked where the toothpaste was. the woman replied it was on the ground floor. my friend was puzzled & said she didn't know there was another floor to that store & the woman said "oh, it's only for our special customers who are on the list." the woman pulled out a big list & then immediately located my friend's name on it. she told my friend to meet her by the elevators near the front door. (obviously there are no elevators at this walmart where my friend shops in real time)

my friend got on the elevator with the woman, who then told her that it was going to take at least 10 minutes to reach the bottom floor. during the ride, the elevator got hotter & hotter. my friend commented on this to the woman, who said "yes, it's getting hotter." when the doors opened, my friend saw flames & then the woman's face changed like the faces did in "the devil's advocate." my friend asked "where am i? where is this place?" and the woman replied "this is the heart of walmart."

my friend said she immediately woke up, she was sweating, her heart was beating rapidly & it was some time before she drifted off to sleep again. i told her (understatement of the year) "don't shop at walmart ever again." ;)

1. didn't South Park do a very similar episode in the last few week?
They finally make it there and they meet the store in one its many forms. Kyle and Stan look in a mirror at the back of the television department and see their own reflection. It is just possible that we (the consumer's desire) are responsible for making Wall-Mart such a success. The boys decide to break the mirror anyway and the store begins to implode.
