Could someone please see if they can pick up where my checkbook might be?

I believe I took it out of my purse about 2 months ago (I rarely use it and was cleaning out the section it was in) and now I can't find it anywhere. This is a bit disturbing, but I don't see any difference in my bank account, so it's probably just hiding from me somewhere. It's in one of those covers that comes with the purse and has a calculator on the front. I think my voter registration card is in it and that's making me a bit nervous.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful. Sorry to bother you all, but I've looked everywhere I can think of at the moment.

Just sit down for a moment and concentrate on the checkbook and ask where it is. Breathe and relax while you look at the checkbook. As soon as some ideas come to you, go look. If it's not there, repeat. I actually found something the previous day that I had misplaced a couple of years ago. I had three misses but the fourth was the charm. I really forgot where I had put this and would never have found it without asking.

3. This is a method I use on occasion.

I stand with one arm outstretched, slowly turning in a circle, and when I feel a "pull" on that arm, I check in that direction.

I taught this to my daughter and she has used it successfully to find her keys, etc when in a pinch.

I often find stuff in my car that has fallen out of my purse. I'm just hijacking this thread a little because I'm also desperately searching for something. I wear hearing aids, but can't find them anywhere. I pretty much need these to function, so I'm starting to panic a little. If anyone has any vibe at all about where they could be, I'd really appreciate it!
