I have a question about manifestation, and would appreciate

your thoughts, knowledge, and opinions.

When you are working on manifestations, do you usually look at the end results only? That's usually what I do. The reason that I am asking this is, as some of you know, I just started a new job. I only have four cases right now, so I'm going to have to go out and get a part time job, to help pay the bills. I don't mind doing that, but what I would prefer is to have my caseload rise quickly so that I don't HAVE to get a part-time job. I've thought about visualizing my filing cabinet being full of case files. Because having a lot of cases means a lot of billing, which in turn means bringing in a good income.

Do you folks think that would be the best thing to visualize? I would really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks so much! :hug:

1. That's how I do it

From what I understand you want to see the end result of your goal "fleshed out" so to speak. When my son was ten he was running track and made state. We would discuss seeing him running over the finish line in first place. He made it in most cases, even against older and or bigger kids. :hug:

I also like to request that the universe give me help on any job if this is the direction I am meant to go in. And that I do the job for the higher good. And you can then visualize abundance if that is what you desire.

I am also a firm believer in the saying that God helps those who helps themselves! So perhaps you might want to consider taking action to get more cases. If you want to build up your current job put your energy there. Talk with your boss, or a mentor, or someone else about how to get more cases. Consider marketing, networking, etc.

I do not know what industry you are in, so what action you you take depends upon your specific kind of work.

5. I also believe that we need to help ourselves.

I am a vocational rehabilitation counselor, and my work load is entirely referral-based. I am limited in many ways from marketing a lot of the claims managers -- specifically the ones who work at the Dept. of Labor and Industries. But there are ways to do it in a subtle way, and it helps that I've been doing this work for over 16 years, and am a known entity. There are claims managers I can directly market, and I've done some of that, too. Plus, by boss is putting out the word on me.

I really like your suggesting of requesting the universe give help if this is the direction I am meant to go in, and to do the job for the higher good.

Yes, marketing yourself in the social service arena is somewhat different than in the private sector, but as you say, can certainly be done on a subtle basis.

You can send out "educational" letters, emails, and calls to the appropriate referral sources letting them know that you are doing certain kinds of work, with certain kinds of clients and specialty areas, etc. Meeting colleagues for lunch and handing out cards etc.

You can do an informal needs assessment with your referral sources, have lunch or talk to them asking them if they have any particular needs in terms of voc rehab, any thing that you or your organization could do to help them etc. Then think about some ways to meet those needs. Attempt to make personal contact with the referral sources and listen to what they are telling you. Or brainstorm new types of referral sources with your boss.

Or you could think of some innovative treatments or interventions that you want your colleagues/referral sources to know about, or some sort of niche market, for example working with the special needs population, deaf etc. Just some ideas for you to think about to make you stand out. Even when a field is crowded there is always room for excellence and innovation.

The fact you are a known quantity is in your favor, you know how the system works, and whom to contact and how to do it. Give it your best shot and see what happens.

4. One thing I've been doing lately is listening to songs.

In addition to visualizing the end result of my dreams, I've also been listening to songs that validate my boundlessness and fulfillment. These songs give me great earworms, and they make me feel happy in a way that NPR doesn't.

Songs in high rotation on my playlist are:

Fantasy - Earth, Wind, and Fire
Shining Star - Earth, Wind, and Fire
You Are the Universe - Brand New Heavies

That last song is a clincher - there's nothing like going through my day humming under my breath the lyrics, "You are the universe, there ain't nothin' you can't do, if you conceive it, you can achieve it, that's why I believe in you..."

Triple negative be damned, it's a funky groovy song that always gets me going. Google the lyrics, they're spot-on.

8. I think that focusing on the end result is exactly the correct thing...

because we don't want to bind the Universe's "hands". A channelled being with whom I work said that you can get extremely specific but you should always, always, always say "this or something better" because it gives the Universe more flexibility. ("He" also said that we should always add "for the highest good of all involved" to our requests so that we don't inadvertently take on personal karma by our request inadvertently negatively impacting someone else.)

An example of the "or something better" would be to win several years worth of money instead. (Unless the actual working itself is really important to you.) However, if the money is why you're working, winning years worth of the salary would be even better than having to work for it, and it might be easier for the Universe to give you the money than the case load that you need.

Truly, my focus is on bringing in more money, so perhaps I will make that my focus, rather than the specific way in which it comes to me.

And I do agree with your point on not binding the Universe's hands. This is one of the first things I learned about manifestation -- to not get caught up in the "how", but rather focus on the results I want. In my case, the reason I want more cases is that I want more money -- so focusing on more money would be better than more cases.

It is SO because I was NOT focusing on the end result enough..I was obsessing about the details too much!!!

20. I've often gotten hung up on the details at the expense of

the end result that I desire. When I do that, I know that I'm actually blocking the flow, rather than opening myself to that which I desire. I think the "trick" (if I may use that word) is finding the balance between the two. :hi:

Visualizing alot of work may just manifest more work-visualize the money as well....checks coming to you in the mail!
Or.....winning it ALL can work as well, lol!!

I'm still learning myself about visualizing money-I love the way it makes it's way to me now. I truly believe there's a great sense of humor at work-that keeps me smiling and laughing, there's no fear!
I no longer think of "how", just "how much"....

12. When I do a manifesting

I see in my mind it as a process, Begin to end, I see it as being drawn to me or away,than when it's fully in my head as I want it to be, I send it out, of my mind..than deliberately I forget about it. I let it go and distract myself,forget..
Than poof out of the blue.. there it is when I least expect it and when I really needed it.

Lust of result can fuck up manifestation.It just eats up what you just sent with anxiety.
Especially if you are calling yourself to be unrealistically pure in your intents and doubting whether you are good enough, worthy, or pleasing the light or some other self mindfuck...

Myself I admit every thing I do is tainted and mixed up inside me, so I just do it as I do ,I give up control, I send it out there and let spirit do it's part and don't fret.
Hey it works good enough for me and a big plus I don't need to pretend I'm a saint,or get hung up on karma crap to do it.You can't always get what you want, but with a little help from your(spirit) friends you will get what you need.

16. I try to put in as much detail as possible. what it feels like, looks like

smells like even LOL visualize yourself in that space. not just your file cabinet full, but you in the office doing the work!

feel yourself THERE! with as much detail as possible. then release it to the universe with the phrase "or something better"

if doubts come up or fear immediately replace the doubt or fear with "cancel cancel" and refocus on the goal.

listen and watch carefully for "coincidences" in the immediate 72 hours after you release the request. an overheard conversation, an ad on the radio, a snippet in the paper WATCH for them and act on them immediately!

21. someone once suggested an interesting technique too me

it's very simple, yet has always yielded results for me. Before you go to bed, get a glass of water and drink half of it right before you go to sleep. Visualize the results of what you want while you're drinking it. Do the same with the second half first thing when you wake up. You can do it once or 3 nights in a row if you prefer.
