2. Nobody is saying anything?
Edited on Fri Oct-27-06 09:08 PM by emcguffie
I printed it out, but it's too small for me to see anything. I suppose I could get a chart on my own. What time did you use?
Edit to finish: I'm not an astrologer, by any means, but I am familiar with astrology. And curious. And like to see what other people have to say about it.

That's all....

3. I can't get the link to load, so nope, no thoughts.
It also crashed my machine. Maybe someone can provide a different link to the chart.

5. California close of polls isn't the end.
Hawaii and Alaska close several hours after that. Also, where is the westernmost place in the United States, and when do those polls close?

6. I didn't make the chart. I just posted it from what was originally posted.
I guess that the original poster was doing it for his/her area.

7. I'm wondering, though,
isn't it common practice to run a chart for the Birth of an Event (perhaps when the Polls open?) rather than for the so-called "Death" of an event (when they close) to get a read on the Event itself? Just a thought.

8. I believe that is correct.
It certainly sounds reasonable.

10. BTW, how do people like Nancy Waterman
& other political astrologers say they read the election? I haven't been out to those sites for a long time.

11. I believe Nancy and astrologers like her
don't "read" elections as much as they read the charts of those potentially affected by the election eg. Bush, Rice, Cheney, Pelosi, etc and so on. And, for the Bush Gang, there's a lot of anger, disappointment, a sense of frustration and of everything going a few gears back. There is some question as to when the Election will be decided as Mercury is Rx (of course!). If I remember correctly, I think Nancy mentioned that we won't know for a few days who has what, exactly, and there will be cries (and evidence) of vote tampering.

It looks as if Bush, Cheney, et al. are not at all pleased after the Election. That's what their charts show, anyway.

12. Check out her excellent article
"The 110th Congress". I think it'll answer your question. Here's the link: http://www.starlightnews.com/

14. What is bad about the chart?
Just curious, even if it isn't the whole country's ending. I saw a slew of planets in scorpio in the sixth house with gemini rising, and the moon in the 12th but definitely on the ascendant, too. Saturn in the 3rd house. It shows that women will have a strong influence on the election- or that the results might fluctuate at first. Dunno. What is it that others see in the chart.
(thanks for posting it, Ihad.)

15. OK, folks here's why I did the chart for polls closing..
Thanks so much for posting the chart where everyone could see it, and please forgive me not posting on the weekend as I only have internet service at work at this time. I chose the closing hour of the west coast as my time for the chart, as I was uncertain when the polls would close in Alaska and Hawaii, and also because that is when most of the US had voted. Also, I chose the closing of the polls to reflect the decision made, not the polls opening which would reflect the mood of the voters. Does this make sense, LOL.

Also, please forgive me the following impressions, as I haven't studied Astrology for years like some people, and I may be wrong about some things....In the chart there is a huge gathering of planets in Scorpio. Scorpio can indicate hidden or secret things, and these are also in the sixth house (public service). This whole mess is square Neptune, the planet of illusion, and square Saturn, the planet of hard lessions. Neptune and Saturn are in opposition. The moon is on the ascendent, indicating an emotional face on the decision, and is square Uranus, the planet of the unexpected upset, and in opposition to Pluto, the planet of secrets. All these aspects are negative. Also, the stellum in Scorpio is all trine to Uranus. This whole mess looks ominous to me.... Anyone else want to help me out here???

21. Thankyou for analyzing the chart
that did make much more sense to me now that I have read about all of those hard aspects to the stellium in scorpio in the sixth. I'm not well-versed in astrology, just have an overall knowledge of how it works. So I guess I looked at the stuff I know about, but neglected looking at the hard aspects. Still, I don't think that a scorpio stellium in the sixth house, without the squares, opps, etc you'd mentioned, is necessarily secretive. It can show an attempt to ferret out problems energetically. I guess I am looking for something positive in this whole mess. But, regarding Northern California in the area I live, there is quite a lot of accountability at the registrar's. They do count the absentee ballots, and compare the signatures, etc. And there are numerous poll watchers that do observe the tabulation. And they do excellent trainings for election day polling place clerks and inspectors- so, at least locally, I feel that things are fairly straightforward. I realize this is only one area, and that I am probably simplifying the situation. But I do have some hope that people are getting more watchful and savvy- and that, regardless of whether we win the midterms overall, we are working to get to the bottom of the problem. Scorpio is good for that.

17. Just got back from a NEW Metaphysical store
in my town - GREAT place, just loved it! I asked what their astrologers are predicting, and...
sigh...

"With Mercury retrograde, and Neptune acting up, the results will be VERY CONFUSING for many days, and will result in great acrimony for both sides. The upside is that electronic voting will be in the news FROM NOW ON." They're still studying charts to see WHICH SIDE wins, in the long run. As of now, There's no clear winner...(insert expletive of your choice here).

Otherwise, it was a marvelous experience.

18. Thank you NB
I hate to say it, but looking at the big picture, I think I would prefer them to steal the election and get caught so the machines (and ultimately the neocons) are gone forever, then for us to win and the machines stay.

19. I think I may agree with you.
The fraud has to stop - and what better way than to have the culprits win impossible elections.

20. I have to say that this jives with the charts I've done for some Dems

as individuals. And basically, the cleaner the elections in the state those candidates or incumbents are located in, the more secure they look professionally in 2006. But even Oregon's Dems are going to have some issues with close and disputed elections, and we have clean elections here.
