I've subscribed to Daily Om, thanks to the posts here. I've shared it with the Intender's Circle hostess and she continues to thank me! We never know how many lives we touch by one simple action.

I really like this reminder and comparison to nature. I recall an autumn day in 1997 when I was sitting outside watching the pecans drop from a large tree. It reminded me that this is the season for pecans to ripen and provide what we need to make all kinds of goodies. I realized, for the first time, that seasons are 'normal'. The pecan tree does not ripen all year. It takes a break and works inwardly to produce its fruit. That was such a relief for me to realize as a part of nature, I too am allowed to have my seemingly non-productive seasons. It was a comfort.
