I know zilch. What would Mars transit portend?

On Wednesday, Nov. 8th, Mercury will pass directly in front of the sun. The rare transit will be visible from the Americas, Hawaii and all around the Pacific Rim. It begins at 2:12 p.m. EST (11:12 a.m. PST) and lasts for nearly five hours.

Then there is the comet smacking into the sun.

I don't believe in astrology, but I cannot disprove it and feel certain energies and movements. Right now, I feel much more than just the tension of this election. Been building for a long time and has a certain ambivalent edginess to it.

Whazzup? In terms a non-astrologer can grasp. (and a blond at that;) ) Something is afoot. Am an empath and very sensitive to patterns and disruptions/changes in vibrations, the Chinese Snake in the Grass and all.

Something is coming down. Can some of you fill me in with your take on it all?

3. It seems that

quite a few of us are feeling a burden at this time. I'm not an astrologer. Not an astronomer.
I can't guess what the energies you are feeling mean. I don't even know what I'm feeling means.
But you have come to the right place. If you read this forum over an amount of time, the puzzle starts to put itself together.

It would be interesting to hear from you. As an empath and an observer of patterns, what do you see?

The take I have is we are ready for a CHANGE. I am hoping that the American Spirit and the whole world has suffered enough atrocities with the initials, GWB, and that the time is nigh. I thought that in 2003. Before the horrors started on the other side of the planet. I thought, surely not. Cannot everyone see through this scam? No. Thought so in 2004. SURELY our electorate and the gods and goddesses that be will stop the madness? Not to be.

What do we, as a collective, need to learn here? What is the message? I was ready six years ago.
This is not just a political debate. It has roots. There is something here for us. We, as a collective, will either learn and move Forward, or go down the tubes. Neocons and fundies do not see a bright horizon. They deal in evil motives. One for the glory of themselves, and the other for the glory of themselves, aka, Jesus in the Sky with diamonds. No offense to believers. Just call the shots as I see them from down south here. IOW, it honors no one to take a dive and allow injustice.

Please, do tell us, what do you see, sense, feel?

4. Sense energies at war. Not nations, not even groups within nations

though all that is going on.

There are wild fluctuations in energies and one sees it with just about everyone. People complaining of poor memory. People more prone to illness and chronic conditions which are really bothering them. Not just geezers like me.

I see it in wildlife as I am blessed to live in a place where it is easy to observe such pattern changes. Just temp changes affecting migrations? Perhaps, but we are seeing rather drastic changes very fast and I am not sure the temp changes and the effects on winds or currents is all of the story.

People talk about feeling something coming. Not just the socio-political winds, but something on a deeper, more basic level. More and more people seem to be acknowledging they have some undefined intuition that is surfacing. (that in its self is a good thing as far as I'm concerned)

The land its self is speaking.

What concerns me is the censorship of science with all this going one. The uber wealthy seem to be more desperate than usual to 'die with the most toys'. It is a drive that goes beyond my weak grasp of greed in human nature. What do they know? What have they known for some time that they don't want the masses to learn?

The land its self is speaking. Study tells us all things are cyclical rather than linear. Capitalism is linear and will fail for the same reasons all other socio-economic systems fail: the participations of humans.

Something is afoot. Maybe our universe is but a smear on some slide in a lab. Perhaps our part in the experiment is over, or about to undergo a major new step. Don't know.

But there seems to be such polarization now. Sure, in history, there have often been such times, but there are so many of us now. More and more are recognizing their five admitted senses are not all they perceive with. There are messages coming in that more and more are noticing, if not quite deciphering.

Comets come and go. Sometimes they strike other objects. Seems likely many comets hit many stars in the spiral of time. Mars transits the sun every now and then.

The collective unconscious looks for signs and patterns. Seems unlikely that is so without reason.

Mars, the label give by one very clever bunch of people for their god of War. Crossing the great disk which makes life on our rock possible, casting a very small shadow, then passing back into the darkness from our vantage point.

A comet, swallowed by our sun. A comet which could have caused horrible devastation had its course been a bit different. But swallowed safely by the sun instead.

I choose to believe that we are merely bumps in the cycles. What may seem terrifying and, indeed be threatening to our survival, is not the total of reality. Cycles and events go their merry way with or without us.

All that is certain is change. Change in and of its self is not necessarily painful. Resistance to change can be.

There is something going on and we need to change.

I choose to try and interest young people in the hobby of raising some of their own food and learning skills of nudging nature to help create conditions which are favorable for our survival. I choose to try to understand and share the data on the mechanisms we depend on.

I also choose to believe what science knows is no where near what is to be known. And I choose to heed feelings and connectedness.

There are energies about. There are energies which are in combat.

I choose to try and teach youngsters how to SEE what is and dream what could be. I choose to try and show them how their food is made so they might adapt.

It seems very important to pass on practical things right now. It seems VERY IMPORTANT.

5. Mars is described as the "God of war" but that is an aberration.

A centered Mars represents the uniqueness of an individual and the feeling that one can make an effective contribution to family, society, and or the culture at large.

Mars is combative when it's lost that sense or feels violated.

Ideally Sun/ Mars alignments can purify or center the wills of individuals.

Understand full about Man being the God of War! Man creates most gods in his own image. ;)

Mars representing effective contribution of individual to family, society or culture. Or, combative when it has lost its sense of feels violated.

We see the shadow silhouette of Mars as it passes by our sun. Shadows are very important to my view.

8. The shadow is interesting

and I am beginning to think we must deal with this on large scale.

I went through a personal experience this past year which brought me close to the shadow.
Some 7-8 years ago, I first encountered this notion. And I determined that for 40+ years I had been trying to encompass Light only. Something brought me to the conclusion that the Shadow has to be incorporated, integrated. I read up on the subject. But Intention is Energy in Motion.

So, today I was talking to a fellow faith healer on quite a different subject, but this issue came up out of the blue. Later I spoke with the Intender Circle leader, and again the shadow subject came up! Something I had pretty much put away after a period of conscious focus, came back home.

So what have I learned about Shadow? I now know that it cannot exist without Light.
My teachers today told me that it is nothing to fear. It is the Moon card of the Major Arcana of the Tarot.

As applies, I'll take a jump. We have been viewing a large, dark looming shadow. The precepts would tell us that indicates there is Light in the vicinity. Darkness does not exist in a vacuum.
It cannot exist without LIGHT! Shadows are often larger than life because they are distorted.
Looming means, following us. The NRC (or whoever. "homeland security") wants to keep us all close by. They listen to our private voices, read our bank statements, which I am even terrified to look at, want to dictate what chemicals are allowed or disallowed into our bodies, which God(dess) gave us. No stem cell research or cloning made this bod. IOW, they want to mandate EVERY freaking thing that I experience. There is a pretty good job at that, assuming that the person I meet on the street watched dysfunctional housewifes last night (a show I never watched and never will) . or their football team did not come out on the winning cut, so they are all pissed off. That happens. Have a friend with a sensitive husband and lordy make UT win so he has a good day.

The line. Selfishness. Actually the grounds of our Constitution and BOR are built on selfishness.
Me, mine, ours. If we take a step up on the evolution ladder? How about Ours? Let us build on that.

9. I respect

you coming here and taking a risk and asking.

I don't know what that first post was. I'm a mystic and I don't fully "believe" in astrolgoy either.
So what.

I have moved to a new area where there is much wildlife. I was leaving an appointment Sunday night and spotted a possum in the next drive way. I used to live at a lake and we had coons and foxes, little armadillos rooting in the leaves. Awesome. Then I saw a lonesome doe grazing on someone's front lawn. The past two days, I have driven by two opposum carcases smushed in the road. I don't look at them. But their image is burned into my brain.

How much more, the live, full of breath humans, who GWB takes down every day.

I really like you. I hope you post more often. Shadow, indeed. We live on a razor's edge. When I contemplate, I don't even know where my breath comes from or where it goes. I will never stop asking questions. And I hope you never do either.

Sun: Life force, self, vitality, individuality, self expression, self identity.

Sun/Mars represents: drive to assert oneself.

Positive expression: self assertive, courageous, energetic and bold, strong communication

Negatively expressed: impatient, reckless, pugnacious, egotistical
