It is my profound and absolute pleasure to. . .
Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 01:50 PM by stellanoir
welcome one of my dearest friends and favorite people on the planet to this funky little forum.

WELCOME WICKFORDBARD !!!

I don't even know whether she knows this but I often refer to her to others in conversation as "the story lady."

I've never met anyone who has a better or deeper understanding of myths, legends, and symbolism. She is an ace interpreter of dreams as well as a great astrologer.

Yaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I'm so pleased you've arrived. :)

Have I now officially embarrassed your entire 12th house?

Hope so.

5. Your hugs couldn't possibly scare anyone away.
They are probably a great and phenomenal example of the power of attraction.

I was just was reminded after I posted the OP how unbelievably goofy I felt about my birthday thread a couple months ago.

But that's probably just my Venus retro and wickfordbard doesn't have that nor does she scare easily.

Another spiritual warrioress I swear. I owe her for boatloads of support and wisdom over the past few decades.

Just trying to share the LOVE. :)

Edited on Fri Nov-10-06 02:47 PM by stellanoir
I had a funny conversation with one of "those guys" who is fairly fatalistic shortly after 9/11.

He did accurately predict that the division between the haves and have nots would widen and that what would distinguish one from the other was property ownership.

OMG I didn't want him to be right.

But after I spoke with him I couldn't get "Let's go serfin' now everybody's serfin' now come on and safari with me. . ." out of my head. I was so-o-o annoyed.

Hey how did it get to be casstella instead of stellacass?

Oh I guess 'cause you thought of it first. LOL

Poor Stella, I have given you the short end of the stick...
your name on the tail end and you get the odd days..

For sure I am gonna testify on your behalf at your karmic board :)

(I still think They had a lot of nerve pulling you off cloud duty
to come down to this pit :( )

BTW did you ever read some of the Matthew books, he says that some clouds are actually entities from another galaxy and they are serving some important energy and environmental work. His point is that
ETS are already among us, doing good and we don't even know it....

21. Hmmm. sponge cake.
Looks yummy. I love Japanese baked goods.

There is a Japanese bakery in a city about 50 miles from where I live, thank God it is far away or I would be in real trouble.

When we go visit that city I park myself in the bakery and enjoy
all the Japanese delights (I lived in Japan for 4 years as a child, brings back a lot of childhood memories).

I really look forward to all your discussions.

17. Well met, Wickfordbard!
Glad to have you with us! Anybody that Stella speaks so highly of must be pretty amazing, and we need "amazing" all too often!

You just have to be ok with getting called a Moonbat, Woo-woo, or something equally cute on occasion around here. Usually, it doesn't come in this forum--it stays out in General Discussion--so don't fret. If you are as tough as Stella, you'll be just fine!

After you're here for an hour or two we'll show you the secret handshake and teach you the new mantra we learned in one of Stella's threads out in General Discussion!

:woohoo:

Regards!

Celebrating and enjoying the week.
Our energy has suddenly become much lighter.

Lots of natal 12 h planets, very karmic placement,
I am sure you are aware of that....

Karmic astrology is an interest of mine.

What kind of astrology do you practice? What are
your specialty areas?

Very interesting. Yes she would of course be very good

And yikes, you mean I actually have to know the date, and then
determine if it is an odd or even one? And then if I am Cassie or Casstella??

You guys remind me of the Mad Hatter and his wild teaparty. Don't ask me why!. Just an image after I read through all the hellos. A combo of whirlwind and jumping from seat to seat. How do you get to a page where all the replies follow one upon the other? Instead of having to open each separate rely.

Oh well, something to learn.

A thread has to have a certain number of replies before the View All function is enabled.

Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 07:44 AM by stellanoir
Of all the tales and legends for you to associate that with this group is hilarious to me. Do you want to be Alice. . .?

I always got a kick out of that line from the "Queen of Hearts" "Either you or your head must be off at once."

Glad you didn't flash on the Star Wars bar scene at least.

The "view all" option is next to the title of the thread in red on both the forum page and on the original post. You only have to click it on the threads that have more than 20 responses. Have fun.

40. Is it the movement you feel here that makes you think of the Mad Hatter's party?
I've always felt that whole tea-party scene must have been simply overwhelming for Alice because of the constantly moving characters there and the continually shifting places those characters were in. I do hope we are not similarly overwhelming for you (or any other new person) here!!

There are a wide array of folks on here at differing places in life. Some of us are working to master new skills, some are teaching those skills, and the roles we play in this community seem to shift and mutate fairly often. As a need strikes people step out--either in seeking or in giving.

The energy is almost always comforting and supportive and for that reason people seem to be pretty open in asking for support, advice or even applause.

Again, I say, Well Met!

43. I love mad tea parties!
so you are not overwhelming. Just getting used to how it's all done. I love the cheshire cat and Jimmini - where did those icons come from?

I do feel like Alice welcomed to the Teaparty. But it's all good.

I look forward to getting to know all of you individually.

To answer a few questions:

I went to the C.G. Jung Institut in Zurich. Jung's daughter Gert did my astro chart and told me if I didn't get through the Institut I'd make a great astrologer. (Uranus in 1st house in Gemini, Aquarius midheaven) So I studied both. I use astrology with my clients - I get them out of therapy quicker that way. I also use it with my coaching clients - helps them focus.

Anyway, I'm off in a storm (in Las Vegas, it's blowing and might snow up in the mountains) to explore. See you all later.

B-) B-)
