I posted in his thread but decided to start a new one as this is going to take more information than I have. I am very visual and pictures evoke a lot
for me. And I like interpreting highly symbolic

I will have to get some books about Tarot and start
reading. Looks like it would take a long time to learn.

19. I met a man

who taught me Tarot. I placed an ad, "Searching for a Sage" .. Sage is my favorite herb.
He showed up. Had a sage plant in the yard. He taught me. His mother had taught him. I still love that guy and he loves me .. but it is a different plane.

Tarot decks do hold power. The Mythical one worked for me for a long time. I still have Universal Waite. I've given away more decks than I own.

It's a progression. Numerology is something that comes easy for me. And the four corners.
It is all about internal and external. yin/yang .. and challenges. Just real life things. I have had a collection of books that I also gave away to willing seekers.

When you sit down with someone, they are seeking. We look at the cards together. The seeker knows the meaning more than the reader. The reader's job is just to start off the direction. Then the seeker finds.

The same man who taught me Tarot also does Karmic Astrology. He has written a beautiful expose' of my birth chart. Tells me where my challenges lie. It is so right on. I would like to have a differnt chart, but alas, I have the one I was born with.

People give me stones and rocks and gems, crystals. They (the stones) come into my life and make magick. I don't control them. Some have just disappeared. Sorry to say those that don't meditate with 'rocks'/gemstones/crystals . just aren't listening.

The same guy gave me a huge book to read about them. A recent friend brought me a crystal! I never mentioned to her. People are magick.

Don't be afraid of Tarot. You can get a deck at half price for about $5 .. but it will speak to you. You don't need any books to tell you. If you already understand the four corners . they all have their purpose .. and the seeds .. the major arcana is a mystery. It's a fool's journey. It is mythic and has its roots in the journey of humanking. The hero's journey is one book I will never let go of. It is the mystery of life.

that tarot is about a symbolic mythology of mankind?

About your birth chart, you chose it before you were born. It was your life plan, what you want to work on in this life, and what karmic debts and credits you bring with you.

Every single natal chart I have ever seen is so beautiful, so full of promise, so exciting to see.

My only advice is to pick one you like.
The four corners are what I use for smudgings.
They are the compass points.
They were also mentioned in the Bible.

The Sceptre
or yod
= Fire.

The Cup
or he
= Water.

The Sword
or vau
= Earth.

The Pentacle
or 2nd he
= Air.

Since you deal with astrology, you already know the four elements/corners.
Some Tarot people don't use the above symbolism. I was taught differently. I pasted that from a google site. I've always read the Swords as Air and Pentacles Earth.

Four seems to be a magickal number. It is all over my numerology chart. 4's and 8's.
The North is like a grandaddy. Teaches us wisdom. The South is Grandmother. Teaches us rest.
The West shows us where we have been. The East shows us where we are going.

You won't have any problem at all picking up on Tarot. It works quite well with astrology.
When you get the deck you will notice the four suits. They begin at one and progress through ten. Same thing as numerology.

I'm a little short on time right now, but would enjoy discussing this further. There are other readers here also, glad to answer questions.

As I see it, yes, it is very much symbolic of the journey and archetypes.

As for my chart, a lot of mother issues. The one I had was my challenge to overcome. But have found that I tend to nurture. Something that was never shown to me first hand. But we all are more than the sum of parts, aren't we.

Yes the Tarot four corners are the elements in astrology.
We don't have corners in astrology, everything is round or wedged shape :)

The other Tarot symbolism also sounds much like astrology.
North and south node teach where we are going, where we have been. Saturn teaches us wisdom. Venus teaches us beauty and fun.

You perhaps were meant to learn in this lifetime that the nurturing comes from inside you, not external. You can nurture yourself.

15. It is a good idea

to call for Michael. He's helped me once before and was tons of help with this really powerful and awful spirit who tried to attack me psychically. I just called for Michael's helped and he came. It took him a few minutes to get there for whatever purpose but I could so strongly feel his presence when he was helping me. It was definitely amazing because I've always had some sort of familiar feeling towards him. :) Even when I was a little kid learning about him from the Bible. It was as if I knew him.

You can never go wrong with amethyst in my opinion.
It is my favorite crystal. It is a powerful master stone
and all purpose healer, protector, and connection to the Divine.

You don't really need the rose quartz in your car, just if there
are negative entities you are trying to ward off.

Other crystals I like for the car and travel:

Turquoise guards against attack, accident, road rage.

If you must travel alone or at night smokey quartz, misty obsidian, labrodite are good.

And you don't need big pieces, even a small crystal has lots of power. You can put it in your glove box.

I also have a small Blessed Mary medal, but you can use Quan Yin or any one else that works for you. I like female energy so I gravitate toward them.

Those of us born in August got stuck with peridot? A pale green? I had a ring my mother gave me too, but it got lost in the river when I was skiing. So I guess the river needed it more than I did.

My whole room when I was growing up was purple and white.
I don't wear it as much anymore, but that's because I haven't found pieces that "speak" to me yet.
It really wasn't the color, it was the stone itself. That particualr one--it gave me the creeps.
I wonder now if she did something to it. (that's a whole other story)

Yep; I lost a favorite rose quartz ring one time that my mother had given me. Guess that person needed it more than I did. (yes, I know someone has it). I do think I'm gonna buy another one soon.

Don't be scared of them. I think they're just misunderstood. I've been getting to know them lately, well the male one really, and he's not bad. He's just misunderstood I think. He's so connected to this house and won't go on but he's not a bad spirit or anything. I've dealt with bad spirits before who were scary. One spirit one time wrote "die" on my mirror in my bathroom and than another one tried to pull my spirit from my body to attack me on the astral plane. So these spirits aren't bad. Believe me on that one.

why I think the spirits didn't appreciate your asking for help was mostly the male one again. He's just too connected to this house and he's very stubborn and doesn't like other people helping him or butting into his problems. At least that is what I get.

Johnnie told me the entities were weaker today. I bet they are gone by the weekend at the latest. I can't tell how "bad" they are but they identify themselves as hex entities and Johnnie and his house will be MUCH better off without them. Fortunately, they don't have free will to stay when they are told to leave.
