I just got a call from my broker, about my disbursment amount that I get from my mother's IRA every year. I've been waiting for the check, but last year it was about $800.

GUESS how much it's gonna be this year.........

I can buy a car!!(Friend has a good one to sell me for $1000) Pay off the bills I owe! And probably get a couple of Christmas presents too!! This will put us ahead, and we can DEFINATELY make it work from there. All we really needed was a little boost.

It will take a couple of weeks to get it done (paperwork); but I can get it hopefully by Christmas, or maybe immed. thereafter.

4. This morning was a CLEAR test!

I was not upset, at all. I just knew that this was a challenge to see if my new-found way of dealing with negative thougts about money was going to "hold"; as it were. I felt I needed a little backup, which is why I posted. You all helped me to hold onto those feelings of peace and "it's all going to be ok"; and the payoff was almost immediate!!
NOW, I have a good grip on how that feels, and I think I will be able to do that on my own now. I just needed a little help over the hump. And I SO got it!!
