okay, what is it with "11:11" again? I'm seeing it everywhere...

Granted, this could be selective perception because of the postings here -- i.e., maybe I'm seeing "10:43" a lot and "9:13" and just not thinking about it.

But suddenly, I'm seeing "11:11" on my microwave, when I get in my car, when I pick up the cell phone - and just now, when I looked at the computer. Even a 1:11 the other night, after a particularly good night of writing.

What's going on?

3. Interesting about 2:22. It's my birthday, which would be 2:22:12

in 2012 if I live that long. I wonder if there is any significance in that? My late husbands birthday was 10:11. Maybe I'm reading too much into this.

2. I got a great 11:11 message last night

As I mentioned in the "Progressing Right on Schedule" thread, I have had two days of fresh hell at work and was pretty beaten up by the end of the day yesterday. My spirit had tread marks all over it. Spiked tread marks. I hated everyone and everything, especially myself for...I don't know what. But I was lower than a snake's belly.

All I wanted to do was go home, but although I don't usually stop at stores after work (besides grocery stores or takeout for dinner), I found myself at the new Christmas Store in town--for some reason I just "had" to get electric candles for our windows RIGHT THEN. I got the candles and on impulse got an extension cord (yep, I did end up needing it), but wasn't feeling very festive, because I was still fretting about work.

Total: $11:11.

The cashier must have thought I was insane--I started grinning from ear to ear and couldn't stop. Started laughing a bit too. At least I waited till I was in my car before I shouted out loud, "Okay! I get it! You're taking care of me! Fine!"

I've been getting 11:11 for quite some time now, and I know for me it means "Relax--you're doing fine, you're on the right track, and we're watching over you" in addition to reminders to be a more spiritual being and not get caught up in the crappy little aspects of the material world. What seeing it more and more means for you, only you can figure out. Seems like the universe is trying to get a message through to you. Fun, innit? :)
