O/T In honor of World AIDS Day, I'd like to ask a favor...

I apologize for this off topic post. I hope you all can forgive me, I just feel that the occasian warrants a little extra something. ;)

There are a few threads circulating on the boards that I would love to see make it to the main page of DU. Let's show those that visit DU that progressive Dems hearts are in the right place. Please click on any (or all) of these links, and kick and/or nominate these threads for the main page.

I was personally touched by this post (taken from an article). It really seems to exemplify the spirit of what it was like to work with the patients affected by AIDS in the early days of the epidemic:
