we've felt so stuck lately
so I literally cleaned my house like crazy today and then just smudged the whole house with white sage

I asked my guides to ground out any negative energy and asked the light and white energy to come into our lives and home and that any negative energy blow out with the smoke

i'll let you know how it goes....

4. I'm with you.
This sounds delicious. A very inviting environment.

The positive energy comes through in your post.

And so it is.

Wow. I wanna be in your house.

5. it's funny how I forget how easy it is to get stuck in my head and not
notice my surroundings until they are just a reflection of my internal chaos

since I am Taurus and normally *VERY* grounded, the prosaic actions of cleaning a house, doing dishes with soapy hot water on my hands is so theraputic.

when I literally clean house, it helps to spirtually clean my head/house too

that is why dear Elorial's Feng Shui threads are linked in my Journal. It's important (especially if I find myself "stuck") to go back and read them to remind myself to keep the energy moving.

my wise and wonderful Husband had a terrible day yesterday and when we talked it was so freeing to him to just "name it" (being stuck-lack of manifestation) that the energy lightened almost immediately

This morning, even though neither of us felt like moving, we encouraged each other to get started and with in a couple hours it was done and *SO* much better.

8. I got a call from
ex-bf this morning. He came over and we 'cleaned house'.. but on a spirit level. He thinks we can do once a week now. I want him every day because I need a mental challenge. Which I'm missing.

Your husband sounds perfect.

I was lurking when Eloriel did the Feng Shui threads. And moving. If you have the links, they would be worth posting. I had to move so much energy. And I am still challenged with that. Please post if you can.

Sometimes all I can do is light a bit of incense. It is motivating to hear of your activity.

I think I might be in a pack rat mode. Do not know. Someone literally showed up on my doorstep last night and wanted to ask Spirit the same questions I've been asking.

It's just astounding. There are a few dishes in the sink. But there is some kind of spiritual housecleaning going on.

ps: I still think you got the best husband in the world! He agrees?
It is so nice when you live with someone who also wants to open the world. And run the vac.

and I may be in Austin 01/08 for a couple weeks, maybe coffee eh?

as for the Dearest Husband, we were best friends over a year before it went "romantic"

it's a great basis for a good relationship. and our friendship started because of spiritual studies :D

and you have a date. There's a hood of Du'ers who call Austin home. You'll find them in the Texas forum, if you're interested.

That is the only basis that ex-bf and I have.. spiritual. We probably got started with other things before we knew what happened. I need him as a spiritual/mental bud, and nothing more. That's our new plan. I think it can work.

I can pm you phone number. Are you coming to see a sister? What part of town? Have you been here before? You'll love it. If you love magick.

ps.. I just saw that you did kick and thank you. Cool beans.

6. Kudos for taking action to change your current situation.
I'm sending positive vibes to you, your husband and your home, AZDem.

I've never smudged my home. I wonder what would happen if I did....

9. Yeah, I'm with you there. Cleaning my house would be a last resort!
I'd be thinking "Isn't there something that I can just spray to cover up this bad energy?" ;)

13. the grass
clippings on the front carpet give it "charm". And the lump of laundry in the bedroom? Just means I have a reason to make bedroom off limits to outsiders.

That sounds good? Doncha think?

"Re-decorating" is always a good idea. IOW, sorry for the confusion, we're making changes.

15. for me, redecorating ALWAYS involves a major cleaning
the amount of hair my animals throw off on a weekly basis is bordering on criminal

17. when I had a young-un
at home, I was much more meticulous about the house. Even had a "system" to keep the chores rotated. Plus a rug rat to take out the trash and empty the dishwasher. When he left home, I said, what? Where is my chore buddy? He always told me I kept a cozy home.

Now, when you come to my house, um, re-deocrating.

I've got a clean little kitty that doesn't shed, that I've noticed. We aren't counting the outside animals that make themselves at home. I think there might be an army of five in the attic.

My problem too, as I've noticed, is I get 'men' roommates. They never think to vaccuum or clean up the dishes, even though I clean their's. Forbid that they discover there is a brush to swab out the potty bowl. The tub? Are you kidding? Forget about the floors as well.

The next time I go roommate shopping, I want a fastidious person who loves to clean! They can start in my room :D .. I'm serious. Someone needs a handle on this chaos.

But it is cozy chaos.

18. I had two inspirations to clean this week
1) my stepmother's home in Shreveport was (and always is) immaculate

2) I was gone 4 days and DHubby kept the kitchen cleaner than I EVER do

I love a clean house, I just hate the cleanING part hehe

and every time I clean, I swear "this time I'm gonna keep on top of it" but it never happens :(

sigh..

19. if you have a bunch of animals running in and out
and a life, I dunno. A clean house in Shreveport seems like a contradiction in terms. But I have a bad SV memory. Got beat at poker. And put the metal to the pedal to leave! But, I'm sure it is nicer if someone actually has a house there. I didn't know that side of town.

I read three books to get my party going to keep it clean.
Hint. After a shower, wipe off the mirrors while they are damp. Shortcuts. I could have never made it. But when I stripped the floors and re-waxed? ex-dh decided that was time to tear the wall out and make a new wall. Right over my newly waxed floors. So glad I could ablige.

Tear out the kitchen wall too, while you are at it, and take on refinishing all the cabs .. what were we thinking? We were young, and had energy to burn. Now when I get my bookshelves organized, call it a full day.
