and since rumpel decided to delete this thread in the form of a verb and also, in honor of it being New Year's Eve Day, (even though I've always thought that the first decan of Cap is a crazy time to start anew) I thought we might take this opportunity to dump all extraneous, intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical baggage on this thread.

I'll start by deleting all rumpel's browser's flakiness for coming the year if not forever.

For myself I'm deleting all impurities of my mind, body, spirit, and soul and all assorted residual "battlescars of self loathing."

I'll also delete all the cluttered corners of my yurt, heart, mind, and any misunderstandings that may have transpired over the past year if not long before.

For my community I'd delete any remote sense of isolation.

For my state I'd delete the egregious lack of affordable housing, employment, health insurance, and end all unnecessary and counterproductive incarcerations.

For my country I'd delete all the legislation (with the possible exception of the Do Not Call List) passed over the last 6 long years and all violations of the rules of natural, domestic, international, and universal laws long established. I'll also delete all media distortions, deceit, and rampant corruption of the truth.

For my world I'd delete all intolerance, hatred, bigotry, inequities, greed/poverty, and the lie that violence or death ever solves anything or does anything other than further "perpetuate retribution." I'd delete the lack of consciousness of our leaders, polluters, mercenary swines, and fundamentalists of all stripes.

I'll think of more later for sure.

I was sleep deprived yesterday and had a brain freeze around that term. It was bothering me so much that it was the source of my silly inner argument about kicking this thread, as I typically would know that term cold. I was too lazy to look it up. (tooth ache is back) Ughhh.

I confess I had to look up the grammatical end of things, at first I was thinking it was a gerund, but I was wrong. At least I think so, we would have to ask Rump exactly how she was using the word when she typed it. :)

Dream always handles things very well. I am sure she will be gracious in
her response. Of course, she totally denies she is psychic, but then turns around
and is aware of any pm I send to her before I send it. All you psychic folks
are going to spook me out yet. :)

12. Interesting. . .

Yeah I'm not sure whether or not this is a Aries south node phenomenon: it's far easier for me to overcome pain below my neck but dental pain and sinus pain always seems to impair my neurological function. Thank heaven I don't get headaches. Today the pain is mostly gone though. I had a friend thankfully work on me yesterday.

ooooooo I'd forgotten about gerunds, thanks for the reminder of those as well. Yesterday I couldn't even remember the name for dachshunds either. LOL

You interpreted rumpel's tense usage as on going for the year ahead, whereas I interpreted it to be "of the moment." She might think it's funny that we are speculating about the intent behind her deletion. Do we Virgo risings over analyze much??? Pshaw...

Yes I saw it as a work in progress, the process of deleting unwanted
and unneeded aspects of the self. Constantly shedding old skin so to speak.

So I saw it more as a on going process, you saw it as an event. Interesting.

I was getting my list ready for the burning bowl. I just haven't done very much wrong stuff this past year. I know I felt like a fool on more than a dozen occasions and was miserable and a bit wacko a bit of the year. But as far as actually doing harm? Conscious conflict? Not really.

So. I agree with your community spirit. One, we are All.

I love a new year. The story goes that we are free at any time to start anew. And I believe that and count on it. But a Brand New Year! Has just always been a special time.

I'm with you on the legislation too. In spite of the dire predictions around our near future, I feel more hopeful than in a very long time.

I did a bunch of deleteing a couple of months ago, so I'm pretty well caught up.

9. Yes, interesting present participle? Deleting in the present tense.

I am rusty on the grammar, but the present tense is interesting.

DELETING. Means things we are going to work on all year.

That is heavy. Will have to work on the list.

Stella did such a great job on the deleting that I would only add, let's get rid of all legislation from around 1850, when they really didn't but made believe they made corporations a legal entity. Throw out all the laws and start again, based on the brehon laws of the Celts.

I absolutely am deleting fear this year. But I'd also like to release the 1 step forward, 5 steps backwards routine I've been in. Moving to a whole different part of the country does not a change make.

I released a bunch of stuff in a fire ritual last night, but who knows if it really when up in smoke. They used magic paper that went "poof" -

But the most important thing I will release this year is the fatal falling into non-belief that strikes when I'm down. I keep forgetting that Spirit is always there and that my little ego fears are the BIG PICTURE, when they're so not.
