Have you ever felt "okay" about a situation that didn't "look" okay? |
|
I have a situation where things aren't anywhere close to what I would like them to be, and yet, I feel okay about it. I was freaking and stressing about it for awhile, but I'm not doing that anymore.
Instead, I feel that everything is going to be okay. I don't feel as if I have to wail and rend my garments over it. Rather, I am calm about it.
Have any of you ever felt that way?

1. Yup. All the time. The most memorable example would be |

the 2004 general election. I had an overwhelming feeling, especially right at the end, that "all of this was going to work out...relatively well" (I told people that a lot during those days). And...I think that was more a case of my psychic sense resting on the really long-term outcome of the Bush catastrophe. You know that saying, "Everything comes out alright in the end. If it's not alright, then it's not the end." It could be that your situation is messy for now, but will totally resolve itself at some future date.

3. All the time, and more and more..... |
|
while I don't feel I'm "settling" for something and not caring anymore, I care, but understand more and more that my worry and fretting about it taking a certain course will not help and can only actually harm things - at least my health.
I also try to practice more and more seeing what can be done with reality as it is, instead of moaning and groaning that it isn't to my liking and design!

in the materials I'm reading and listening to recently. Acceptance or surrender (to the highest good). Dr. Hawkins puts it this way, "Get rid of the nonessential and Keep the essential. As some say, don't sweat the small stuff. That never resonated for me, but the other materials are.
Hang in.
