"There Will Be Blood" is *the* movie of this Jupiter in Capricorn year. |

While I can't imagine that many of our forum members will want to see it, (although I didn't think the violence in it was plentiful or gratuitous) those of you who have or will may notice how perfectly it captures the essence of the Jupiter-in-Capricorn experience. I saw it (in part) as a long, metaphoric illustration of what happens when expansive Jupiterian things collide with the rigid, autocratic side of Capricorn. Which...isn't pretty. It's not a brilliant film, (although Daniel Day Lewis' work in it is excellent) but it's a stunning and poignant indictment of American society which I think astrologers and New Agers are in a unique position to appreciate.

not my kind of movie, really- but I was overruled. It was a very intense movie, to say the least and Daniel Day Lewis' wprl was outstanding.
