I feel wierd

my mom hasn't answered the phone in two days and that's not like her.

a few months ago my girlfriend and I of twelve years broke up.

I have the phrases for a beautiful piece of music, but the arranging of them is eluding me.
I can play them for hours as if minutes went by, but nothing gels.

I look for reasons to be happy instead of excuses to be miserable.

I am forever restless these days.

A few days ago,
for the first time in my life I danced with a woman I'd never met before,
and we embraced like old friends who have been many years apart.
I got her name only; I'm trying not to pine as I know I would have many years ago,
but to be thankful and hopeful.

My self-confidence is returning after a very long absence.

Pluto is sitting on the empty leg of my T-square.

it is Springtime for you and your soul's ready to bloom, so things are starting to poke through the soil that is your life. It sounds like a very powerful, uplifting, promise-filled time. I hope that you can enjoy and savor it! :)

I just get depressed sometimes when I can't figure out what to do with the restlessness.

Your analogy is similar to one presented at a chant circle for Imbolc that I attended,
one that felt very close to home,
except it was of a tiny flame slowly melting through the ice and snow.
