Daily Cosmic Calendar
The cosmos is becoming more agitated and volatile as we move toward the next New Moon. This coming solar-lunar embrace does not occur until tomorrow morning. However, all kinds of celestial fireworks are about to go off.

1. ricochetastroman just mentioned Uranus in the New Moon thread.
It sounds as though this is a real power time!

Thanks for posting this, rumpel. (It's always good to know ahead of time about these things.)

:)

2. GD P needs a little of this advice : ) Thanks for the heads up!
"The main advice is to simmer down, make sure you stay cool and calm in debates and meetings, and be the picture of human kindness across the board. Projecting anger onto well-meaning friends and family members is taboo. It is possible that you can tweak this alignment to some extent - allowing you to understand the deeper motivations of dear ones and colleagues"

3. I'm just bringing this up to the top of the queue
To be our daily thread, perhaps. There were enough positive responses that I thought it worth doing. I couldn't find a "Daily psychiC" post when I sorted the alphabetically. Must be "The Daily Psychic."

So here's to a new season, and a new focus to our energies. The cosmos certainly seems agitated to me.

4. Is this our new daily thread to check in?
If so, then hi everyone! I am here in Central NY, looking at the lovely sunlight shining on my deck. It is cold but the sun is hitting our solar collector which is now bringing some heat into the house. The robins have been home since the beginning of the month and they started out so chubby! I have some of the lard cages I am going to fill with thread and fabric scraps for their nests.

The cats are driving my husband insane. For the last few months they have taken to clawing at our mattress and yowling and scratching at any closed wooden door at about 4:30-5 am every morning. I haven't put them outside at night because of the cold but am really looking forward to the nicer weather so I can get some sleep! Either that or we will have to put them in the garage or my dh will be committing felinicide.

I recently had a power reading done by two shamans, basically the message is to go forward and do for myself, follow my passions and work hard on myself instead of worrying and taking care of other people. That is hard for me but necessary if I want to grow. It is the antithesis of how I was raised and the things one is told to behave when being a wife and mother and nurse. Since I burnt out on nursing last summer, and dug myself out of a terrible depression from the last year... they said I am not ready to carry anything else but my own "thing", I am like a patient just done with chemo and radiation (disease free) but not strong. So, in other words, I have to stop shoulding on myself and not to let anyone else should on me, not to accept guilt etc. from anyone and build up my inner self more. This sounds easy but hell, it is difficult in practice.

I have a lovely friend (a direct response to prayers to my angels) that I met at a sewing meeting and she and I are have much in common. I am so grateful for her! I also have some great Reiki masters and they are teaching me a great deal.

I don't know if I have mentioned this, I take a studio class, painting. My teacher is so great. She has offered an opportunity for me to assist sick children with an art therapy program. It is a volunteer thing and I am so looking forward to it!

I am getting a good lecture from my mom every week on astrology (she has been an astrologer since I was very young). There is so much to soak in! She is of the practical school-- very Taurean.

I am also very grateful for everyone here. This is one of my favorite places and I learn so much from each of you!

Happy Easter!

5. The art therapy thing sounds wonderful
But maybe you should continued doing art just for yourself for a while. Although art therapy for sick children sounds like such a wonderful cause, it may be a burden you are not yet strong enough to take on.

Just my opinion. You need to do what feels right to you. Thanks for posting.

7. Bumping to say Good morning!
I hope everyone had a good day yesterday, Easter if you celebrate it.

This year was a bit different. Our son is 15 now, not interested in traditional Easter activities. He has been getting more interested in Buddhism and is not as interested in continuing rites of Christendom unless it means presents for him (so much for detachment from material things lol).

I made lamb for my dh. I saw a neighbor who seemed tired/stretched. I think there is something going on with her liver, her skin is looking darker (and winter isn't over) and later she did say something about staying on Bactrim for the foreseeable future. She had a major surgery last spring and came home from the hospital on iv antibiotics due to some major infections-- VRE, MRSA etc. I also intuited her appetite is not what it needs to be, she was pretty defensive about that saying it was better etc. but I think she gets a lot of flack from her family about it; I still think her vital appetite is low. She really does not like red meat but her doc keeps telling her she needs the protein--he recommended 5 bottles of Boost a day (!). I sent her home with some nutrition/cookbooks-- Laurel's Kitchen and The Book of Whole Meals. I also recommended Reiki for her. I am sending some angel prayers for her as well. She needs more rest but I don't think it will happen for the next couple of months. She helps her dh run a seed/feed store and has a new grandchild she cares for 3 evenings out of the week besides her two kids at home and isn't getting enough sleep. She is on my mind.

I organized my spices and herbs for cooking/baking in a organizer meant to go in a garage to hold washers and screws. I printed labels and used those ziplock snack bags. I could use another one (or half of one). I found a few doubles of things I couldn't find before so this will definitely help. I will have to find a longer term/bulk storage option as well because I am planting a large herb garden this year and will be harvesting and drying them. I wish the weather would turn already so I can get started!
