Will this flu ever go away?

I've only had it about a week, but it feels like a month.

Talk about a rotten week. Even though I felt like I was coming down with something, I interviewed for a great job on March 3 and they gave me every impression they were going to hire me. At the second interview on Thursday, they still acted like I was their choice. Why else give me a year's worth of their publication to take home and study?

On Friday -- my 56th birthday -- I woke up REALLY sick and couldn't get out of bed. Couldn't even manage a piece of cake that night. I was sick all weekend. Yesterday morning they sent me a short email saying they'd hired someone else. I was disappointed as hell, but went and crawled back into bed to try and get over the damn flu. Today I'm still so weak I can barely move.

Probably one of the suckiest birthday weekends in recent memory.

Sorry, I just felt an irresistible urge to piss and moan.

daughter and fiancee had it first - then Mom and me.

started with a cough - strangely - totally spaced out. I was not sure whether it is allergies or not.

I've had a wonderful part-time job for years, but the clients haven't been providing us with as much work as in the past. Last year I made only half of what I made 2 years earlier. It's the economy.

I've got it, too. For me, it started with a fever. No warning at all. Usually I can stave things off with echinacea and vitamin C, but there has to be some warning for that to help. It came on so fast, there was nothing I could do to stop it.

I didn't get any symptoms besides the fever and aches and pains for a week. The fever just wiped me out, though. Totally no energy. Now, the fever's gone, but I've got a cough. It's not a bad cough, so am still hoping I can toss it off quickly.

Sounds like this flu has been hitting a lot of us pretty hard this year.

The cough really did me in, and I've still got it to some degree. You're right, this is a nasty flu.

Mine started as a cold a month ago... went away, came back as pneumonia.
Double-triple yuck, thank God/dess, I'm finally mending. Man does that suck. Lots of drugs, meds, herbs, finally - I'm breathing a bit.

Don't every underestimate the 6th harmonic chart (health), mine has 0 degrees of Capricorn rising and this all hit when Mars opposed Pluto. geesh.
