1. It is awful...

a few weeks ago, I also saw on local news the same is happening in Sacramento and elsewhere...I would not be able to abandon my pack, whatever the circumstances.
My daughter's dream is to get a huge property somewhere and take All unwanted pets...but that will take some time.

2. The story shows a real estate agent

that goes around to abandoned houses and finds the pets left behind.

The shelters really need our support now more than ever. I've been planning to take the volunteer courses for our shelter, and now is definitely the time.

I know. I already decided my cat would have to live with me in the car if it came to that. A lot of the homeless guys around here have dogs. The food pantries give out some pet food. I don't know if the shelters let them come in. Austin is an above average dog friendly city.
