Woohoo Manifestation thread |
|
First off, I am going to speak of what I am giving up to receive what I just manifested. My daughter's school PTA is having a swap meet to raise funds (to help allay some of the budget shortfall for the next school year - our school district is going to lose $18 million due to the state budget crisis). This swap meet was not a planned fundraiser for this year, but we need to do it. I am donating an old kitchen table and chairs to the swap meet because I am replacing it with a pub height table and bar stools (the pub height table gives me a work surface in my kitchen that is high enough for me - the counters - at standard counter height - are about 4 to 5 inches too low - I am over 6 feet tall). I am also donating a couch I got from Craigslist when I needed a couch for my living room.
I had already manifested the bar stools (for free), but today I went to IKEA to pick up a bed sheet that the Brownies are going to use to make a banner (twin sheets are $2.99 at IKEA!). Since I was there, I thought I would check the "scratch and dent" area. In the scratch and dents was a pub height table for $55.00! WOOHOO! The table normally sells for $130.00, so I had to snatch it up.
As I am sure a lot of you are aware, I am always looking on Craigslist. Yesterday there was an ad for an IKEA Ektorp couch, so I answered it. The Ektorp has a variety of covers available for it, so even if I do not like the pattern, I can always go to IKEA and get a different cover for it. Sure enough, the couch is available. I am picking it up tonight, so I can donate the previously mentioned couch to the swap meet.
The bonus is that even if the items I donate to the swap meet do not sell, arrangements have been made for a local charity to come pick up the leftovers after the sale is over, so someone out there will get benefit from my items.
:woohoo:

These are my type of manifestations. The only time we bought something on Craigslist was when my daugther needed furniture for grad school at the University of Michigan. Wow, did that ever manifest--it was a huge storage coffee table, originally from Pottery Barn, and very cheap. It was almost as if I was visualizing it and it appeared.
Anyway, I felt good about that for weeks, so I know how you feel about manifesting the right furniture.
I am always manifesting flea market finds, and I get such a big kick out of it. Somehow I wish this could translate into some awesome investment................oh, once I did buy an oil painting from Ebay that was really good, and the guy claimed that the artist was listed. I didn't check into it until I offered one of my daughters any painting in my house--she picked that one. I checked at Davenport's and I found it was worth $2,500.00, and I had paid about fifty bucks for it. I sort of chickened out on shipping it to her and told her it was here for whenever she wanted to come back and claim it.

not necessarily giving up any material thing, but rather giving up any preconceived notions you have about how you will receive the money. Concentrate upon it appearing, not on the way it will appear. And forgive me if you already are doing this--it just came to me to tell you. Also to be thankful for it--both before and after you receive it--and receive it you will.

This is great news for you! Like you, I'm manifesting things right now--have gotten a solid job doing the web design and maintenance for a jeweler (who is also a healer), and a strong possibility of more web clients! Now to manifest the way to learn more about coding! I know it will come!

and the money to pay for it.
I had put my daughter on the waiting list for this swim team back in February.
