I'm not sure how the ignore thing works. Do you miss a whole 130 post thread just because someone you ignored posted it? Or does it say ignore at the top?

3. When I follow the link you send I get a blank screen saying

something like "you are ignoring this poster." I miss the whole thread. You have to go un-ignore the person to see the post or anything in it. I'm ignoring a grand total of 5 people out of more than 118,000 registered members.

If the person I'm ignoring responds to someone else's thread, their subject line gets replaced with the message You can see everything around it, including responses to it.

It's easy to ignore someone - up by their name is a little icon of a person with a red x over it. Click it and confirm. To end the 'time out' or whatever go to My DU in the toolbar of any DU page, then click on the icon "Ignore list".

I guess I am afraid of missing something, so I don't ignore anybody. Although, I have to say there are a few people that really annoy me--none of them in ASAH, however. This is just a huge thread, and fairly interesting, if you like the subject. If you want, you could unignore Jack Sprat for this one thread and then ignore him again.

I honestly have not gotten to the bottom of the thread, but in this thread I don't remember anything objectionable that he said.

There were the usual skeptics, of course. If there was flaming in it, it would have been toward the bottom where I haven't had the chance to read yet.

5. Well I won't say it's out of the question

that I crossed swords w/ him and lost and took the time-out myself. I don't usually come across the people that I have on that list.
